Salary related donations Big steps to a smaller carbon footprint The PURE salary related donations scheme has been developed to cater for the growing environmental awareness of corporate clients and their employees. In addition to corporate social responsibility, we are continually approached by individuals that want to do their bit to help. You may have already looked at your organisation’s carbon footprint and taken action to reduce emissions through energy saving measures and offsetting. You can further demonstrate your commitment by offering a salary related donation scheme for staff so that everyone has the opportunity to get involved. We provide: ■ A free carbon calculation tool to help employees measure their household, road and flight carbon footprint ■ Free energy saving tips and information to help individuals save money and encourage good practice both at home and across business operations ■ A tax efficient way to support United Nations approved emissions projects via charitable donations. Giving everyone the opportunity to get involved Salary related giving is a highly tax-effective means of donating to charity and making a real difference with your contribution. By using this method, more than 100% of the net donation goes directly to the projects we support. It is easy to set up a salary related scheme for your employees.
