The Royal Queensland Food & Wine Show (RQFWS) Beer Awards presented by Rallings, reinvigorated in 2019 after a long hiatus, invites
the top brewers from across Australia to compete for national recognition.

Featuring a dedicated team of brewers, beer writers and industry figures, the competition offers a comprehensive snapshot of the quality
of Australian brewing and a trustworthy guide for consumers.

The winner of the 2022 Grand Champion Beer will not only have bragging rights but will also receive a $5,000 Lion bursary, with further
opportunities to be showcased at the Brisbane Showgrounds and the Royal International Convention Centre.

Thanks to the support of Treasury Brisbane, 2022 will see an emerging Southeast Queensland brewer crowned the Treasury Brisbane
Emerging Brewer of the Year, with beers from the brewer to be sold at a vast array of Treasury Brisbane outlets across Southeast
Queensland.

5 COMPETITION SCHEDULE AND ENTRY PROCESS
BREWERY ELIGIBILITY
AUSTRALIAN BREWERIES
Australian brewing companies that are producing beer for commercial sale are eligible to participate.

Breweries-in-planning and/or those not in commercial operation by the close of entry date are not eligible to participate.

BEER ELIGIBILITY
A brewing company may enter unlimited beers into the competition.

No single beer may be entered in more than one class. Packaged and draught versions of the same beer must be entered into the same style
class.

Collaboration beers may only be entered by one party, which must be the party that has the greatest ownership (financial interest) of the
beer. If financial interest is equally shared, the beer must be entered by the brewery where the beer was produced as long as they have equal
ownership.

Many styles require additional information in order to assist the proper judging of entries. You will be prompted during the online entry process
where additional information is required.

The additional information provided is subject to editing by the RNA to ensure the additional information does not identify the beer being
judged.

If a brewing company or beer entry does not meet the eligibility requirements above by the close of entry date and has registered for the Beer
Awards, the brewing company and/or beer entry is subject to disqualification without further notice and no refund of fees will be issued.

The RNA retains sole discretion to determine eligibility of beers and breweries for the RQFWS Beer Awards.
