Hello Delegates,
I would like to welcome you to ACLMUNCI. This is the Middle School Singel
Delegation Crisis all based on the Avengers MCU, but before we jump into that, here is
a little bit about me.
My name is Saumya Sharma, and I am a sophomore at Briar Woods and taking
engineering at the Academy of Engineering and Technology at ACL. Model UN has
been a part of my life since eighth grade, and Marvel for much longer. My interest in
Marvel has stemmed a mad collection of any novelty item you can think of...
With this Crisis Arc fully based on the latest chapter of the MCU, I am expecting
some very intricate and complex subplots within this committee, and can't wait to see
how you, the delegates, will maneuver around this.
On that note good luck, and I can't wait to see what you achieve.

Dear Delegates,
Welcome to the Middle School Single Delegation Marvel Crisis for the first
ACLMUNC. I have lived in Aldie, Virginia all my life. I started participating in Model UN
in my freshman year of high school and I am now a sophomore. I attend John Champe
High School and the entrepreneurship pathway of the Academy of Engineering and
Technology at ACL.
The topic of this year’s crisis committee surrounds the Marvel Comic and
Cinematic Universe. This is one of the most complex yet intriguing crisis simulation’s
ever. However, I have full confidence that you, the delegates, will be able to use your
skills and find wonderful solutions to this problems. I wish you all luck in this year’s
conference.

Welcome to the inaugural edition of ACLMUN. It is my pleasure to welcome you
to a conference that I am sure will be memorable. Whether you or a new delegate or a
veteran of Model UN Conferences, my colleagues and I have worked hard to make this
conference everything it can be.
First, let me tell you something about myself. I am originally from Colorado
Springs in Colorado. I moved to Brambleton when I was five years old. I started
participating in Model UN since my freshman year in high school at TJ. Ever since, it
has been one of my most favorite activities outside of school. Outside of being a nerd,
I love playing soccer and basketball. Viva Barca! I also produce beats.
The Marvel Avengers Crisis Simulation is one of the most unique and
challenging simulations that ACLMUNI has to offer. We will be debating on serious
issues pertaining to the characters in the MCU. However, I am confident that you all will
be able to find the best solutions possible through diplomacy, statesmanship, and a
huge amount of crisis

few survivors of the act.

communication between Earth and the Avengers and spy on any Avenger or

● Bruce Banner (Hulk)
○ Bruce Banner aka Hulk is a renowned scientist who was highly respected for all
his work in the fields of Biochemistry, Nuclear Physics, and Gamma Radiation.
However, when an exposure to high levels of Gamma Radiation instead of Vita
Radiation went awry, he transformed into the huge, rage-fueled, nearly mindless
and green-skinned monster known as Hulk. In Infinity War, Hulk was unable to
fuel his anger to become the Hulk. Although Banner and the other Avengers and
their allies managed to kill off Thanos' forces, Thanos personally arrived in
Wakanda to retrieve the Mind Stone. He effortlessly subdued Bruce and the
other heroes and completed the Gauntlet, with Banner being one of the few
survivors of Thanos' plan to kill half the universe.

○ M'Baku is the leader of the Jabari Tribe, a group of Wakandans who have
removed themselves from mainstream society, he serves a seat on the Tribal
Council for his support of T’Challa. With T’Challa gone, M’Baku serves a major
role in leading the Wakandans. He would have access to a decent amount of
Vibranium and the armed forces of Wakanda along with Okoye. Delegates could
leverage his resources in some way…

● Rocket Raccoon○ Rocket Raccoon is a genetically enhanced raccoon turned freelance criminal.
Rocket and Groot accompanied Thor to Nidavellir to obtain the weapon
Stormbreaker. The trio then headed to Earth where they helped the Avengers in
defending Wakanda from Thanos' minions. Their efforts to stop Thanos proved
for naught in the end, and Rocket was one of the only Guardians to survive
Thanos' subsequent mass slaughter, along with Nebula. His wit and resources
could be harnessed to distract Thanos, as Thanos has been susceptible to
distractions from Star Lord.

● Nebula
○ Step daughter of Thanos and adopted sister of Gamora. Though she was on
Thanos’ side, once she found out that Thanos sacrificed Gamora, she became a
part of the Avengers. She and Tony Stark are stranded on the planet of Titan.
She and Rocket Raccoon are the only remaining members of the Guardians of
the Galaxy.
○ Delegates should take into account that although Nebula “hates” Thanos, she
also was keen on proving her worth to him. Even though she has unbridled
power, delegates could utilize her strong relationship with Thanos in some way.

● Okoye
○ Okoye is the general of the Dora Milaje and the head of Wakanda armed forces
and intel. She is loyal to anyone on the throne and aided T’Challa in defeating
Killmonger. Against Thanos, she and the Avengers did not stand a chance. She
survived, but no one holds the throne to Wakanda.
○ Delegates could leverage Okoye’s access to Wakandan arms and intel to aid the
Avengers in reclaiming the Infinity Gauntlet

● Thor
○ Thor Odinson is the current king of Asgard, a founding member of the
Avengers, and the God of Thunder. He is a crucial member of the Avengers.
With Asgard destroyed and the refugees killed by Thanos he is the only
surviving Asgardian. Thor is able to use Stormbreaker, a powerful, enchanted
axe (the most powerful in Asgardian history) that was able to hurt Thanos before
he activated the gauntlet.
○ Delegates could use Thor’s powers and Stormbreaker to help defeat Thanos and
regain the Infinity Gauntlet.

● Valkyrie
○ Brunnhilde aka Valkyrie is an Asgardian Valkyrie who was a part of the elite
warriors of Asgard known as the Valkyries. She helped lead the remaining
Asgardians off the ship to safety before the Mad Titan destroyed the ship and
killed the remaining forces. After Thanos’ snap, she and Thor are one of the onlyAsgardians left. She possesses superhuman powers, longevity, and combat
mastery.
○ Delegates could utilize her superhuman abilities and combat mastery to their
advantage…

● War Machine
○ James Rhodes aka War Machine is the best friend of Tony Stark and a U.S.
military officer and jet pilot. He also served as a liaison between Stark Industries
and the military. War Machine serves as a liason to the United Nations from the
Avengers. He participated in the Battle of Wakanda with other Avengers only to
lose to Thanos and the Infinity Gauntlet, however, he survived.
○ Delegates could leverage War Machine’s connections with the UN and the U.S.
Air Force. They could also use his connections to Stark Industries to develop
new technology

● Captain America
○ Steve Rogers aka Captain America is a World War II veteran and participation in
the Super Soldier Program made him a super human. He fought in the Battle of
Wakanda along with the other Avengers but failed to stop Thanos. As a result,
Thanos took the mind stone from Vision resulting in the cataclysmic snap.
○ Delegates could use his superhuman abilities, strong weapons, and connections
to their advantage to defeat Thanos and resurrect the rest of the Avengers.

● Iron Man
○ Anthony Edward "Tony" Stark is a genius, billionaire, philanthropist and the
former head of Stark Industries. Stark created an armored suit becoming the
armored superhero known as Iron Man. In Infinity War, Stark went to Titan to
battle Thanos. Stark is left on Titan with Nebula as everyone else on the planet
had disintegrated.
○ Delegate could use Stark’s technical knowledge and expertise to create
weapons that are able to defeat Thanos. First, however, they must escape the
pod and find a way to return to Earth

● Ant-Man
○ Scott Edward Harris Lang is a former criminal who uses Hank Pym, a CEO’s suit
to become Ant Man. Ant-Man has super shrinking and enlarging abilities and is
able to change his size at will, along with people around him. In Infinity War, Ant
Man was searching for a substance to heal Ava Starr, but he got stuck in the
Quantum Realm when Thanos got all the infinity stones.
○ Delegates could use Ant Man being stuck in the Quantum Realm to their
advantage and his super-shrinking ability to find a way to infiltrate Thanos’s
body.

○ Clinton Francis Barton, better known as Hawkeye, is the greatest marksman on
the planet and a former special agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. He is known for his use of
the bow and arrow as his primary weapon. However, after Civil War, Barton
retired and is a family man, not appearing in Infinity War.
○ Delegates could use Hawkeye’s involvement as a S.H.I.E.L.D agent to rally
S.H.I.E.L.D against Thanos.

● Wong
○ Wong is a master of the mystic arts within Kamar-Taj. As an experienced
sorcerer, wong is able to manipulate Eldritch Magic. He is familiar with spells
and objects that are forbidden to most other sorcerers, such as the Eye of
Agamotto, and the Dark Dimension ritual. After defeating Ebony Maw and Cull
Obsidian on Earth, he stayed away from the fight against Thanos and defended
the New York Sanctum.
○ Delegates can use Wong’s knowledge of the mystic arts to aid in the fight
against Thanos. He has mystic powers similar to Dr. Strange which may be the
most important in defeating Thanos.

● Captain Marvel
○ Carol Danvers also known as Captain Marvel, is a US Air Force Pilot who has
supernatural, or cosmic powers, resulting from her Kree heritage. She has many
different powers including energy blasts, superhuman strength, speed, and
flying abilities. The last known presence of Captain Marvel was at the end of
Infinity War when Nick Fury receives a message from her. Captain Marvel is one
of the most powerful superheroes in the universe.
○ Delegates could use the intensity of Captain Marvel’s powers to incapacitate
Thanos and reclaim the Infinity Gauntlet because of her unimaginable strength.

● Pepper Potts
○ Virginia "Pepper" Potts is the Chief Executive Officer of Stark Industries. She
and Tony Stark aka Iron Man love each other and hold a romantic relationship.
She has helped Iron Man in many ways as she has maintained Stark’s company
and is an expert businesswoman.
○ Delegates could use her expertise of Stark’s company and suits to their
advantage and find a way to rescue Iron Man.
