IN THE BEGINNING - 2006
Jubilee REACH began as a safe and warm place for Lake Hills
Elementary students to find community both before and after school.
After 10 years, we continue serving students and their families.
Purchased and then renovated by volunteers in 2006,
the Jubilee REACH building became a center for community
in Bellevue’s most diverse and underserved neighborhood.

Welcome! Thank you for gathering to celebrate the 10 Year Anniversary of Jubilee REACH! Thank you for coming together tonight as “One Bellevue”, to bring in the Christmas Holiday Season of Giving at our third annual Festival of Trees Gala! We opened our doors September 6, 2006, to love, nurture and nourish elementary school students in the dark morning hours before school, so their parents could get to jobs to sustain their families. The child continues to be at the heart of Jubilee REACH, as we believe that every child desires to be known, loved, affirmed and belong. Today, our staff and volunteers help build a collaborative community in Bellevue by caring for the deeper social and emotional needs of students. When people are loved, they believe in themselves. Once they believe, they can achieve their personal potential. Every dollar you invest tonight in Jubilee REACH is essential to sustain and deepen our presence in Bellevue’s public schools and in the greater community. You are helping us reach the deeper needs of young students and helping prevent delinquent behaviors and costly community challenges. We can’t do this alone. We are grateful to serve in authentic partnership with the Bellevue School District and in true collaboration with committed community service organizations, churches, businesses and our City of Bellevue. He is a graduate of the Western College of Auctioneering and has active membership in the National Auctioneers Association. As a Professional Fundraising Auctioneer, Larry engages with causes in Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. When not in tuxedo and mic in hand, Larry can be found writing about and composing photographs in Tuscany. His new book “Miracles in Montanare - Ten Years in Tuscany” (Iron Twine Press 2016) details a decade of friendships in the tiny Italian village of Montanare. Larry’s most notable accomplishment is his 10 year old daughter Daniela (aka the greatest kid in the world). Larry and his family live in Redmond with Taylor, the Super Dog. Brad Goode Emcee Returning this year is emcee Brad Goode. After 14 years as an award-winning anchor in the Northwest news business, Brad now joins the banking sector as Senior VP for communication at Washington Federal, Inc. Over the last decade, Brad has become a passionate auctioneer and emcee. He helps dozens of charities and other organizations raise millions of dollars each year. In his limited spare time, you will find Brad skiing with his wife and daughter, playing golf whenever possible, riding a mountain bike or playing in charity hockey games. Brad is a graduate of Michigan State University and a proud Spartan!

SERVING STUDENTS
Using the powerful platform of sports, Jubilee REACH brings
interscholastic competition into all Bellevue middle schools.
Students and a few passionate volunteers created a competitive
Robotics Club. Other Jubilee REACH sports and activities include:
soccer, cross country, co-ed flag football, basketball, girls golf, cheer, chess
club, math club, dance, destination imagination, photography and ukulele.FESTIVAL TREES Your Christmas will sparkle and shine with a stylish and beautifully decorated tree. Twelve uniquely themed trees have been decorated by our talented volunteer designers and are up for bid in the live auction. Each Jasper Cashmere Christmas Tree stands 7.5 feet tall and features 1,166 natural branch tips, 500 indoor clear lights and a sturdy rolling stand. Trees will be wrapped and delivered with care by a professional moving company to the winning bidder’s designated delivery address within a 20-mile driving limit of Seattle on Monday, November 16. A delivery address will be requested this evening and a representative will contact winning bidders to make arrangements for Monday delivery between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. If arrangements cannot be made, delivery will be the responsibility of the purchaser. All trees will be unwrapped and set up at the delivery location, and a volunteer representative will follow-up to make sure each tree is set up to bidder’s satisfaction. All physical items and certificates accompanying the purchase of a tree must be picked up this evening at Item Pick Up. Items will not be delivered with the tree.
