2 0 1 8 LT C 1 0 0 AT T H E B R O A D M O O R W e are thrilled to return to the iconic Broadmoor Resort for the 20th holding of LTC 100. Our theme this year is, simply, Lead. These are challenging times for the SNF sector, a winnowing out period, from which will emerge winners and losers, an industry with a slightly smaller footprint, and more diversified business models. “Necessity is the mother of invention” – this expression is definitely playing out now in skilled nursing. Innovation is actually springing up all over! What’s important: Developing the right strategy. Delivering more value. Moving towards risk. Cutting Costs. Innovating. Driving a culture of initiative and creativity from your people. Work hard, work smart, and work new. This is the hard task of leadership – but perhaps the defining moment that our careers have thus far prepared us for. This year’s LTC 100 is aimed to help us courageously and creatively lead towards a brighter future. David Ellis, President & Founder Lincoln Healthcare Leadership Managing Director, LTC 100
