provide charitable assistance to Veterans who served during Operation Iraqi Freedom (OIF) and
Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF) and their families.
Jonn passed away in January of 2019, after a nine-month battle with liver cancer, brought on by his
service in Iraq. He was a graduate of Scituate High School, RI and upon completion of high school he
then enlisted in the U.S. Army Reserves. He proudly served his country as a Sergeant for 8 years,
including two tours for Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was a transportation specialist and traveled all
throughout Iraq. He was passionate about anything that helped his fellow veterans. He was a devoted
husband, father, and son, a cherished brother and Unc.
Jonn was a man who would do anything for anyone, and to that end we, his family, have decided to
start the Jonn P.B.R. DuClau Memorial Foundation, so that we may continue with Jonn’s love for his
