Adhesive Tapes Hints and Tricks
Even if a self-adhesive tape can be applied on almost all materials, evaluation of the appli-
cation parameters and conditions before making a choice is advised.
Application Surface Conditions of use

Tape Storage
Other High compatibility surfaces include: Copper, Zinc, Tin, Lead, Glass porcelain, Acrylic and PVC Rigid. Ideally store tape between 15°C and 25°C with a maximum relative humidity of 65%. Always store away from
heat sources, avoiding exposure to light and if possible, keep in the original packaging. When temperatures
are lower than 15°C it is highly recommended to recondition the adhesive tape to normal temperatures
Primers (15°C and 25°C) before use.
Tape primers may increase the compatibility of the surface and the adhesive tape. Please speak to one of
Pomona’s technical staff or email sales@pomona.co.nz , to discuss our primers and if they are right for your
application. Tape Self Life
Self-adhesive tapes technical features are generally not permanent but remain at their best for approximately
12 months if stored according to the suggested conditions, and by avoiding extreme environmental conditions
such as sudden temperature changes, exposure to UV light and high levels of humidity.
