ADG Laus 50 edición th 02 The ADG Laus Awards are the flagship of one of the most active professional associations, ADG-FAD. Created in 1961 by 11 graphic artists, it was the response to the growing need in Spain to begin to define a profession on the rise thanks to modern advertising and typography, European avant-garde inheritance, and with a future that would be revolutionary. ADG was founded to research and promote graphic design and, especially, to achieve recognition for its professionals. Its foundation marks the beginning of a new stage for the Spanish graphic design. The ADG Laus Awards were created in 1964, the first Spanish contest for graphical creativity of all kinds used in the visual advertising communication. The Laus marked a professional and political awareness clearly committed to the new trends of graphic design and visual communication, far beyond the simple aesthetic spring. 50 editions later, 56 years later, the ADG Laus Awards are a celebration of the visual communication that has become an essential reference to learn about the most relevant creative achievements of the year. They are also an undeniable tool in the service of dissemination and an invaluable exercise of promotion for any graphic designer or art director. For all these reasons, the ADG Laus Awards, as a consolidated and mature institution, assure recognition and visibility to the work of a whole collective. Welcome,
The Awards 03 We invite renowned professionals to judge each category. This is how the voting system works. Bronze Laus Silver Laus First Round, in which each juror has unlimited votes.
