THE PASSPORT TO A FULFILLING CAREER Dania Uctuk’s career has taken her around the globe to places such as Dubai, Jordan and Singapore – but now Melbourne is very much home. Over the past 12 months, the line between professional and personal lives has been blurred like never before. Fortunately for Dania Uctuk, the overlap isn’t new. “I was working for an international Turkish construction during her professional career. “When I was four years old, we moved with my mum to Jordan, where I spent my childhood and early adult life. While I was studying civil engineering at university, I was selected for a UCTUK mining industries and it’s made me appreciate the value of persistence. MAKIN Working for a mining company is a tough introduction to the world of communications, but the lessons Stephanie Makin learned still stand her in good stead.
