2022 SUMMER Warren County Parks and Recreation www.warrencountyva.net/parks-and-rec Summer Registration Begins May 2, 2022
Happy Summer to the residents of Warren County! Warren County Parks and Recreation is proud to present its Summer 2022 brochure illustrating community travel options, fitness activities, special events, and other fun and enriching programs. We are thankful for better days ahead and excited to resume our many recreational, social, cultural, and creative program offerings. I invite all citizens to enjoy the warmer summer days by exploring Warren County Parks and Recreation Department’s programs. The Warren County Parks and Recreation Department is excited and proud to showcase our Splash Pad at Dr. Saul Seide Memorial Botanical Gardens. Adjacent to Lions Park, the Splash Pad is expected to open in mid-April and is a fun, family friendly way to cool off on a warm summer day. You may have noticed the newly constructed large shelter adjacent to the Splash Pad. Thanks to a donation from the Avtex Retirees Club, this shelter will be a beneficial addition to the Dr. Saul Seide Memorial Botanical Gardens. We look forward to seeing the community utilizing this beautiful and revitalized park. In addition to the improvements at Dr. Saul Seide Memorial Botanical Gardens, many program options can be found in these pages for our many facilities and parks. Summer is the perfect time to renew a past talent or discover a new passion. All the information you need to participate can be found in this brochure or at parksandrecreation.warrencountyva.net. I am confident you and your family will find many activities appealing to a wide variety of interests. I invite you to join Warren County Parks and Recreation this summer and rediscover all the wonderful programs we have to offer. We are happy to provide positive experiences where participants can learn new skills, make memories, and have fun. Please visit our park facilities and enjoy all the natural beauty of Warren County.
