Cast & Crew Bios Sarah (Stage Crew) is freshman involved in the VHS Drama Club. Begosh Sarah has been involved in theater since she was 5 years old. Her "career" has ranged from summer camps to school plays and even community theater programs. Sarah is used to being on stage but excited to be a member of the stage crew! Liam (Russ Cochran) is a freshman participating in first VHS Dra- Bolger ma Club performance. His previous roles with the High Bridge Middle School Drama Club include Lord Farquaad in Shrek Jr, Jack Scott in High School Musical Jr, and Iago in Aladdin Jr. He looks forward to three more years with the VHS Drama Club. Liam would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds for all their help this year. Tyler (Randy Dexter) is a freshman participating in his second Bower show as a member of the Voorhees Drama Club. Tyler’s been involved in theatre since elementary school, acting in Theatre Week productions at Valley View Elementary & Woodglen Middle School. Tyler ran the lights Once on this Island & James and the Giant Peach. Tyler has been singing much of his life, as a member of local church choirs, middle school choir, and is currently a member of the VHS Show Choir. Tyler is also an active Life Scout of Troop 92, working toward Eagle rank. Tyler would like to thank his parents for their loving support. Finn (Marjorie Cook) is a sophomore member of the Voorhees Cahill Drama Club. She is a member of the Concert Choir. Prior to high school she was a member of a local theater troupe. She would like to dedicate her performance to my friends, family, and loving boyfriend. Adeline (Roberta Wooster) is a freshman member of the Drama Cooper Club and is delighted to be in her first production at Voor- hees High School. She is thankful she was so warmly wel- comed into the VHS Drama family. Adeline has a huge passion for dance, especially classical ballet, and has spent much of her life on stage or rehearsing. Last year, she was in the high school production of The Little Mermaid at her previous school in Madrid, Spain. 10
Cast & Crew Bios Kelly Deo (Carmen Bernstein/Jane Settler) is a junior and third year member of the VHS Drama Club. This is her 5th show here and she is extremely excited to take part in it. Kelly played Nana in Voorhees' previous production Tuck Everlasting. She also will be part of an upcoming film taking place in the town of Clinton titled The Haunting On The River as Lizzie. Kelly has a goal to continue acting in her future. She'd like to dedicate her performance to her grandma who has always inspired her work and thank her amazing family and team for their incredible support. Now, enjoy the show! Megan (Sasha & Musical Conductor/Operator) is a senior at VHS. Di Giovanni She has been a member of the drama club since her junior year. She is involved in many musical groups at Voorhees, including Marching Band, Concert Band, and Wind Ensem- ble. She intends to go to college in New England and dual major in Political Science and Environmental Studies. She would like to dedicate her performance to Ophelia the cat. She hopes you enjoy the show!! Mia (stage crew, lighting operator) has been a part of the VHS Fosburgh Drama Club for 2 years as the spotlight operator. She is the creator of “What A Technical Director” and is known for adding some spice to the tech crew. She would like to dedi- cate this show to the line “Hey I’m bleeding,” which is her favorite joke. Olivia (assistant stage manager) is a senior and four-year member Hankinson of the drama club. She does various tasks backstage includ- ing moving sets, flying in the scenery, and assisting with quick changes. Recent shows she has helped with include Bright Star and Tuck Everlasting. She plans on attending college to study physical therapy. Olivia enjoys dancing to the music of curtains to keep up crew morale during our long rehearsals. She can't wait for you to see Curtains! and for Noah’s hips to go “Pow Pow Pow. 11
Cast & Crew Bios Izzy (Georgia/Jessica) is a senior and 3 year member of the dra- Hepburn ma club. Izzy is very excited for you to meet Georgia and Jessica! In the upcoming year, Izzy will be moving forward with her acting career by participating in her first ever film. Izzy would like to thank the cast and crew for making her senior year in drama club incredible and memorable, and she hopes you enjoy the show! Riley (Stage Crew) has been involved in the VHS Drama club do- Hogan ing stage crew for one year. He was a member of the stage crew at Woodglen Middle school. He wants to graduate high school, hopefully. He wants to dedicate this perfor- mance to his mom, dad, and pop-pop. Mallory (Mona Page) is a sophomore in the ensemble in Curtains. Kelco Mallory has been part of the Voorhees Drama Club cast since her freshman year. Mallory is a member of Concert Choir. She would like to dedicate her performance to her family. Thomas (Sound Design & Operation) is a junior. This is his sixth pro- Larsen duction with the Voorhees Drama Club. He would like to dedicate his performance to Noah because his “Hips go Pow, Pow, Pow”. He is looking forward to the day when all the tech works. Fiona (Lighting Design & Operator) is a junior member of the Libro Voorhees Drama Club. She would like to dedicate her per- formance to Noah because his "Hips go Pow, Pow, Pow." Her favorite part of every show is her interactions with No- ah Bear. Fiona believes that there is no limit to her "unbridled brilliance". Ian (Aaron Fox/Sid Bernstein) is a 4 year cast member at Voor- Love hees where he also performs with the Show Choir and Jazz Ensemble. He has plans in the future to continue theatre as a hobby and is currently working on writing music as a hobby. He would like to dedicate his performance to his parents that supported him throughout the process, his directors who gave him the chance to perform, and his brother for introducing him to the world of theater. 12
Cast & Crew Bios Sidone (Connie Subbotin) is a freshman member in her second Lyons show with the Voorhees Drama Club. Sido would like to dedicate her performance to the extraordinary, very talent- ed, and amazing friend Estefanie Veliz. Tessa (Niki Harris) is so excited to be playing Niki Harris in this Maddaloni years production of Curtains! This is her fourth year in Dra- ma Club, and she has past experience in VHS choirs and takes voice lessons outside of school. She would like to thank her teachers and her castmates for helping her along the way, along with everyone in charge who has allowed this production to take place. She loves all her show people and hopes you enjoy the show! Brody (Harv/Detective O’Farrell) is a freshman member of the VHS McDowell Drama Club. Brody was previously a member of the Woodglen Middle School drama club. I would like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Reynolds for putting all of their time into this program and allowing us to have a show. Grace (Georgia/Jessica) is a senior at Voorhees High School. In Medea addition to drama club, she is a member of Show Choir, Madrigal Choir, FCCLA and Unified. Grace is very excited that Curtains is her 11th production with the VHS drama club! Grace takes voice lessons with Chelsea Carlson and has enjoyed learning guitar during quarantine. She would like to thank her family and dedicate this performance to all her besties, who make drama club her favorite part of the day! Break a leg to the entire cast and crew of Curtains! Gabby (stage crew) is a freshman at Voorhees High School and a Medea first time member of the Drama Club stage crew. She partic- ipated in Califon School’s Drama Club throughout middle school. Her favorite performances were as the wicked witch in The Wizard of Oz and King Triton in the Little Mermaid. Gabby would like to dedicate her performance to Noah be- cause his “hips go pow pow pow!” 13
Cast & Crew Bios Tommy (stage crew) is a three year member of the drama club and Menzie stage crew. He's been involved in several shows including Big Fish, Tuck Everlasting, and Bright Star. He's enjoyed working with the talented members of the drama club and wishes eve- ryone the best of luck in their performances. He hopes you en- joy the show! Mckenzie (Joanie Harmon/Arlene Barruca) is a sophomore at Voorhees Miller High School. Her previous shows and roles include Mile's wife in Tuck Everlasting, Betty in Catch Me If You Can and Cinder- ella/Milky White/Granny in Into the Woods. She is a member of the Madrigals choir and is learning to play the piano. She would like to thank her fellow cast and crewmates for all their support, hard work, and memories they put into this show de- spite the challenges. Mary (Joanie Harmon/Arelene Barruca) is a sophomore and second Kate year in Drama Club. She is also affiliated with the Voorhees Palmisano Jazz Ensemble and Concert Band. Mary Kate would like to dedi- cate her performance to her loving family who have constantly supported her in everything she does. In the future, Mary Kate would like to continue to participate in Drama Club and have fun with people she cares so much about. She is also very ea- ger to begin looking at colleges and further advancing in her high school career. Noah (Sound-effect operation) has been a member of the VHS Dra- Rodgers ma club Tech Crew for two years. He is the former safety speech announcer and current sound effect operator. He would like to dedicate his performance to Fiona Libro. He would also like to mention his greatest strength: that his hips go “Pow Pow 14
Cast & Crew Bios Ava (assistant stage manager) has been a member of the stage Rodgers crew for three years. She is also a member of the Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, and Marching Band. She has previ- ously been involved in Big Fish, Bright Star, and Tuck Ever- lasting. Ava plans to attend American University in the fall studying international relations. She would like to thank the talented members (and even you Elaine) for their dedication to this show. Harry (Lieutenant Frank Choffi/Oscar) is very grateful to be putting Sperduto on another production in uncertain times. Harry has been performing in VHS Drama Club since his freshman year. Some of his favorite roles include Ren Mccormack (Footloose), Will Bloom (Big Fish) and Jimmy Ray (Bright Star). Harry plans to major in Musical Theatre at the college level this upcoming fall. He would like to thank everyone who helped make this show possible and especially the VHS administration for allowing our parents to come enjoy watching 'Curtains' in person. Mark (Aaron/Sidney) Well, this is crazy. Mark is a senior and 4 Squindo year member the VHS drama program. Some of his favorite roles in the past have been Karl the Giant (Big Fish '19), Mayor Dobbs (Bright Star '19), Miles Tuck (Tuck Everlasting '20) and an almost complete Carl Hanratty last year. He has been the student music director for two years now. He would also like to dedicate this performance to his family and his vocal teacher Alex Garrido. Enjoy the show! Alastair (Bobby/Daryl Grady) is a third year member of the Drama Stewart Club. He has been dancing for eleven years, and hopes to continue dancing and acting in his future. He would like to thank his friends and family for always supporting and help- ing him. 15
Cast & Crew Bios Stefan (Lieutenant Frank Choffi/Oscar) has been involved with the dra- Stojanoski ma club for four years now. Past roles include Billy Cane in Bright Star and Angus Tuck in Tuck Everlasting. Aside from dra- ma club, Stefan is in Key Club, Marching Band, National Honors Society, National English Honors Society, and International Thespian Society. Stefan is attending The College of New Jersey this fall to further his education in secondary ed/english. Stefan wants to thank his family for always supporting him and wishes the cast and crew best of luck! Break a leg! Owen (Bobby/Daryl) is a senior at Voorhees High School. This is his Tabor 10th show with Drama Club. He is a senior dance captain for 3 years and a student choreographer for 2 years. Last year, he was the Drama Club Treasurer and this year he is the Vice Pres- ident. After Drama Club, he participates in his dance studios competitive dance company at The Starmaker School. He dedi- cates his performance to Wendy Williams! Grace (Bambi) has been a member of the VHS Drama Club for four Trumpy years, and she is very excited to be playing Bambi in Curtains! Grace has been dancing for 15 years and is involved in many VHS musical ensembles including the Concert Band, Jazz En- semble and Wind Ensemble, playing the trumpet. Grace has also been a member of the VHS Marching Band for four years and served as Drum Major this past fall. She would like to thank those involved in the show who have helped her become a bet- ter performer, as well as her friends and family for their contin- uous love and support. Cast & Crew Bios Emma (Stage Manager) Emma is a senior at VHS and this is her 4th Tyers year and 11th performance as a member of the crew. Emma plans on attending college to become a family and consum- er sciences teacher. She would like to thank the cast and crew for their amazing efforts and for making this show so enjoyable. She would also like to thank Mr. and Mrs. Reyn- olds for giving her the amazing opportunity. Enjoy the show! Jack (stage crew) is a freshman member of the VHS Drama Club. Wotanowski Prior to VHS, he was a member of stage crew at Woodglen Middle School. He hopes to be a member of the stage crew all throughout his time at Voorhees. Demitra (Carmen Bernstein/Jane Settler) is a junior member of the Ypsilantis Voorhees Drama Club since her freshman year. She has been taking singing lessons since she was six and is in Concert Choir, Show Choir, and Madrigal Choir. She would like to thank her family and friends for all of their support and love throughout the years. Tyler (Christopher Belling) is a second year member of the VHS Zappa the Drama club. Some of his previous parts were Stanford in Bright Star, ensemble in Tuck Everlasting. He is also part of Show Choir, as well as the Marching Band. He would like to dedicate his performance to his parents as well as the cast of Curtains. 17
Staff Bios Mrs. Nancy Lomas-Reynolds has been fortunate to have the opportunity to direct, design and produce shows at Voorhees since the 2003-2004 school year. She holds degrees in Biology from TCNJ and a Masters in Educational Practice from Centenary University. She enjoys every aspect of putting on these shows and working with her talented and dedicated cast, crew and co-advisors. Mr. Joe Reynolds has been teaching at Voorhees since 2004 and has been involved in many aspects of the productions since then. Mr. Reynolds became the Drama club advisor in 2008. Mr. Reynolds teaches instrumental music at Voorhees. Mr. Reynolds has BA in Music Education from Monmouth University, and M.A.’s in Education in Educational Practice and Educational Leadership from Centenary. He is currently persuing an EdD in Educational Leadership. He has also served as the assistant marching band director at North Hunterdon since 2004. Miss. Christine Salter is in her second year as a member of the Drama Club Staff. She was a member of the crew of Wilson Area High School's Drama Club during their productions of Little Shop of Horrors and The Music Man (1994-1995). She currently teaches science and is assistant coach for the Girls Fencing Team. She recently completed her Masters of Arts in Science Education: Physics. She would like to thank Mrs. Lomas-Reynolds for the opportunity to work with the talented and dedicated members of the VHS Drama Club. Miss Megan Decker is thankful to be returning as the choreographer of Curtains! She currently teaches mathematics at North Hunterdon High School. She is the head coach of the North Hunterdon dance team and served as the color guard advisor for 2 years. She is also a guest choreographer and teacher at Showbiz Kidz Dance Center in Phillips- burg, NJ. Miss Decker has a B.A. in mathematics and secondary educa- tion from The College of New Jersey. She would like to thank her fiancé and family for their endless support, as well as Mrs. Reynolds, Mr. Reyn- olds, the staff, and the talented cast of Curtains for their resiliency and dedication this year! 18
