You can study part time for a year on the University Certificate in Health and Social Care Practice course or the Alternative Route into Health and Social Care (evening and online option). Passing either of these courses (providing you also have English and Maths GCSE) means you can apply for our BA Social Work degree. For those who already have an undergraduate degree, we also offer a two year Masters in Social Work. We’re always looking to improve our courses. Which means we do review our modules from time to time, to make sure they’re of a high standard and are relevant to you and to your potential future employers.
