Be Well Derby is an incentive-based wellness program designed to encourage employees to live a healthy Kathy Sexton lifestyle. Participants can earn future insurance City Manager premium discounts and have the opportunity to convert up to 2 sick leave days to wellness days. Employees who successfully achieve Platinum, Gold or Silver status will pay lower premiums on health insurance than non- participating employees. The table below outlines how many wellness points must be earned to achieve each status. New employees will receive a prorated point total.
