Required courses are those a student must pass to meet the state of Oregon and Hillsboro School District require- ments. Elective courses are designed to build skills in areas of study that meet the stu- dent’s needs as well as the pursuit of individual interests. Required courses are a full school year and elective courses may vary in length.
