Friends of the Library Meeting (adults) October 7 at 1 PM The Friends of the Stephenson Public Library support the library through funding and helping with special events. Members meet quarterly for an update on library programs and projects. Come to this meeting to meet the Friends of the Library and learn how you can support the library, too. Patron Appreciation Day (all ages) October 28 at 10 AM to 6 PM To thank you for being a loyal library user, the staff at the Stephenson Public Library is hosting an appreciation day. Stop by the library between 10 AM and 6 PM for coffee and cookies while supplies last. POW/MIA Table Display (all ages) November 7 to November 14 The tradition of setting a single table to honor prisoners 2019 Fall Events of war and missing comrades has been in place since the end of the Vietnam War. The table and the decorations have symbolic meanings. The POW/MIA Table and at the explanation of the symbols will be on display during regular library hours. Please join us in honoring and remembering those who have served our county.
