The TIP is a mechanism used by TxDOT and FHWA to fund projects for the next four years and includes all federally funded projects. You are encouraged to attend the public meeting which will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following date and location: Tuesday, June 5, 2018 Llano County Library 102 E. Haynie St. Llano, Texas 78643 This meeting is being held pursuant to Title 43, Texas Administrative Code, Section 16.102, which calls for an opportunity for public comment concerning the program. The meeting will be open-house format with no formal presentation. Persons with disabilities who plan to attend this meeting and require accommodations or services are requested to contact Uba Gola at 512-832-7100 by no later than May 29, 2018 prior to the meeting. Public Meeting Summary Austin District Rural TIP 2019-2022 TxDOT Austin District held a public open house for the 2019-2022 Rural TIP from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the following date and location: Tuesday, June 5, 2018 Llano County Library 102 E. Haynie Street, Llano, Texas 78643. At the meeting, county maps of the proposed individually-listed and grouped projects planned between 2019 and 2022 were displayed. The Area Engineer responsible for the area and district planning staff were available to answer questions. Handouts included the Project Selection process brochure, general information about the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program process, the list of projects proposed for FY 2019 to FY 2022 Rural TIP, maps, and a comment form. The Public Notice for the above mentioned public open house was published in the Mason County News, Fredericksburg Standard, The Llano News, Giddings Times and News and Blanco County News and posted on TXDOT’s web site together with the list of projects for the 2019-2022 Rural TIP, for public review. Additionally, letters were sent to elected officials representing the rural counties in the Austin District, including county judges, mayors, and city managers. Information was also made available to the Capital Area Regional Transportation Planning Organization (CARTPO), a rural transportation planning entity formed by the Capital Area Council of Governments (CAPCOG). A total of eight (8) members of the public and elected officials attended the meeting in Llano. No comments were received at this meeting or by mail.
