A N Z A C D ay 2 0 1 5 ANZAC DAY COMMEMORATION MARCH ASSEMBLY PLAN 2015-Phase 1 Vehicles Vehicles provided by the RACV and Car Club volunteers will be positioned in the Assembly Area to provide the uplift of all veterans who have requested support. Vehicles for disabled veterans provided by RACV volunteers are to assemble by 8.15 am, two abreast, on the eastern kerb of Swanston Street between Flinders Street and the south side of Princes Bridge. First aid St John Ambulance first aid points and Ambulance Victoria Mica personnel will be located in the Assembly Area, along St Kilda Road, the northern end of the Shrine Forecourt and the dispersal point. Saluting the Eternal Flame As the leader of each formation/ unit approaches the Eternal Flame, hats are to be removed (by following the leader’s movements or by direction) and the right hand placed over the heart and kept in that position until the formation/unit ANZAC DAY COMMEMORATION MARCH ASSEMBLY PLAN 2015-Phase 2 passes the Eternal Flame. Then the reverse is to be followed. Heads are to be turned towards the Eternal Flame when passing it. Banners and flags are to be dipped.
