14th National Environmental Drawing Competition 2020 «Fascination Nature» SQS – Change starts with making the first step The Swiss Association for Quality Management Systems (SQS) is Switzerland’s leading organisation for certification and assessment services. It was established in 1983 as one of the world’s first companies in this industry. Today, SQS is an international company with more than 160 permanent employees in Switzerland, Germany, France and Italy, as well as 300 freelance contract auditors worldwide. Quality is at the centre of all SQS activities. However, this term covers more than the assessable characteristics of a product or service. Comprehensive quality means that products and services meet commercial, environmental and social criteria. With the National Environmental Drawing Competition, SQS would like to sensitise children and young people in Switzerland to the beauty, but also to the vulnerability of our nature and living creatures. The competitions are intended to promote a lively engagement with the «ecosystem earth» in a creative and artistic way. Between 3 000 and 4 000 artworks are submitted for the annual national competition and appraised by a jury of experts. The prizes are awarded in recognition of outstanding artworks and their artists.
