Voices of Our People

     VISION, MISSION & VALUES
     PROCESS
WELCOME FUHUA PRIMARY SCHOOL - Primary One (2017) Orientation
honour the
We must

voices of the
child, consider their
worth and allow those
thoughts of theirs to be
made visible. We have to
give them the tools and scaffold their
learning to make meaning of the
world in their thoughts and
connect them to
the real world.
WELCOME FUHUA PRIMARY SCHOOL - Primary One (2017) Orientation
values
Secondly,

must be
fundamental
and
foundational
– it must build up the child. We have
taken heed to the wise words of the
sage, “Train a child in the way he
should go, and when he is old he will
not depart from it”.
WELCOME FUHUA PRIMARY SCHOOL - Primary One (2017) Orientation
Thirdly, we need
to document what
has been learnt. Our
children must
be able to see, feel,
touch, smell and taste
their learning.
They have to
construct meaning
and make sense of
the world around
them.
WELCOME FUHUA PRIMARY SCHOOL - Primary One (2017) Orientation
Fourthly, we are not alone. We are
building an ethical
community of
learners – teachers,
parents, children, community. Our
teachers are the
professional ethical learning
community. An old African
proverb reverberates in our
hearts,
“It takes a village to
raise a child”. Parents are
our partners, the community,
our stakeholders.
