“I am an American Buffalo born right here in Sioux Falls,
South Dakota! One day I wandered into a Stampede practice
and fell in love with the game of hockey. I can be found out and
about in the community and roaming around the crowds on
game days. I love banging on my drum and getting the crowd
                                      pumped up!”

HOUSING FAMILIES

The entire Sioux Falls Stampede organization would like to thank all of our
wonderful housing families throughout the Sioux Empire for their time, patience,
dedication and commitment throughout the hockey season in opening their homes
to our players.
The bond between housing families and players is special. Our players become
part of a new family and long-lasting relationships are formed. Many former
players stay in touch with their former housing families, even if they make it big in
professional hockey, making trips back to Sioux Falls on occasion. Likewise, many
families will follow their players throughout their career.
Thank you again to our families for the 2020-21 season. With a BIG and special
thank you to our housing coordinator Gail Evans for her hard work behind the
scenes.

OFF-ICE OFFICIALS

We would like to thank all of our hardworking off-ice officials for the 2020-21
season. These dedicated individuals volunteer their time working behind the
scenes on game nights to make sure scoring, penalties and game stats run
smoothly for game operations and on-ice officials. Led by supervisor Doug Kane.

SIOUX FALLS STAMPEDE
CAPTAIN’S CLUB
The Captain’s Club, presented by Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial,
is a community goodwill program that assists in the distribution of
Stampede tickets to youth groups, children with special needs,
wheelchair patrons, families with limited resources, and non-profit
charitable organizations and their volunteer members.

The program was founded by former Stampede captain J.B. Bittner’s
father, Harold Bittner, in 2001 by donating tickets on behalf of the Bittner
family to South Dakota Special Olympics.
