study. It’s a great way to brush up on your academic skills, complete

commit to a full degree. A fee-free* TPP course can help you rise, and shine,
towards a USC degree program.

PATHWAY DIPLOMAS
A full-time, one-year diploma means you can get a taste for university, and have something

to graduate Year 12 with an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) in replacement of
the current Overall Position (OP). From 2021 forward, the ATAR will be used for Year 12

NOTES
1. Students commencing in Semester 2 will take 2.5 years to complete the
program, as some semesters can only be taken part time.
2. Subjects are offered in four teaching periods each year, allowing students to
complete the program in two years.
3. Semester 1 commencement only for Prosthetics and Orthotics and Applied
Environmental Health majors.
4. Completing this program within the specified (full-time) duration is based on
studying 48 unit points per semester (normally 4 courses) and undertaking
some courses in Sessions 1 and 4 or Session 8 (Summer).
5. Some courses must be completed at the Sunshine Coast Health Institute.
6. Subject to external accreditation for Moreton Bay campus offering.
7. Semester 1 commencement only available on a part-time basis at USC Sunshine
Coast and USC Caboolture. Semester 1 commencement not available at USC
Moreton Bay.
8. Commencement in Semester 1 will extend the program duration to 3 years
minimum.
9. Some courses must be completed in Session 4 (Winter) or Session 8 (Summer)
and require students to commit to full-time unpaid placement.
