NZ SKI THE REMARKABLES A firm favourite with families and freestylers, the 385ha Remarkables ski area has three sun-drenched, north facing, snow-filled bowls that are perfectly formed to cater for everyone from absolute beginners to powder-hounds. Bigger, better and more remarkable than ever before, the learner terrain has increased by more than 70% with an additional 8,000m2 accessible terrain plus a new 160m conveyor lift to take novices to the next stage. Remarkables is the home of progression with its parks program including the Remarkables Snow Sports Academy for youth, popular Intro-to-Snow program, an in-season camps. Intermediate skiers and serious freestylers and boarders love the Curvey Basin six-seat chairlift to access advanced terrain parks at Sugar Bowl and the Stash.
