Our country is located in one of the most critical regions of
the world due to its geographical and geopolitical location.
However, the rapid development of weapon technologies
in the world also increases the requirements in the defense
industry. As a result, there are increasing efforts to reduce the
risk of injury and death in the field of war and / or in various
domestic security incidents.
One of the most important protective equipment is the
bulletproof Ballistic Protective Vests. The demand for ballistic
protective vests is increasing day by day due to the current
conditions. Our company has been established to provide
these demands.
Our company has a joint venture agreement with a very
large foreign company specialized in its field and it is making
production with the latest information and technologies.
Specially developed Trauma Shield is used in order to
decrease deformation which is formed especially for soft
ballistic protection.
Our company has the capacity and capability to meet the
market demands with the investment. When we take into
consideration the materials and labor rates we supply from
Turkey, we are able to provide at least 50% economy to our
country.

Ballistic Shield - Hard, Soft, Wheeled, Hand-Held, Transparent
LOW VELOCITY SHIELDS
for protection against handgun, submachine gun and shotgun
For many years Armourshield has produced the BPS series
shields to NIJ Level IIIA standards. These are in widespread
use both in the UK and Overseas. They are available for those
situations where protection against high velocity rifle fire is not
required.
BPS/A 625mm x 500mm

BPS/B (VP) 1250mm x 500mm (incorporating view port
with NIJ IIIA rating).
The handle system comprises a large grab handle, shaped/
cushioned forearm rest and flexible spring retaining loops.
HIGH VELOCITY SHIELDS
for protection against rifle and armour piercing rounds
More recently a NIJ Level III shield, HVS type, has been developed for Special Forces use. This has evolved into a number of
sizes, each suiting a specific scenario. These shields have a side clamp handles to avoid any degradation on the face of the
ballistic panel caused by the drilling of handle attachment holes.

The handle comprises a bar or three point “T” shaped unit so positioned to allow the shield to rest against the forearm. A large
foam pad covers the area where the forearm rests.

Typically available in NIJ protection levels II and IIIA , our
blankets are custom designed and sized to meet bullet
and fragmentation resistance requirements. They can be
deployed on the ground over suspect packages used as
temporary blast protection against explosive building entry,
or suspended to form protection for buildings, vehicles,
boats etc. Where used in a marine environment blankets
are provided with additional protection to guard against
moisture degrading the ballistic performance.
An infinite number of sizes are available within the limits of raw
material dimensions and usage logistics. Standard covers are
in heavy duty fire retardant PVC , black or royal blue. Other
colours are available to special order, as are alternative cover
materials. Standard blankets are supplied with removable
“pallet hook” assemblies along one long and one short side.
Other attachments, hooks, eyelets handles, etc are available
to meet customer requirements. Wide hook and loop strips
are provide on standards blankets to enable two or more
units to be “linked” together to form a larger protected area.
Ballistic Bag
FOR DOWNLOADING CONTAINMENT AND TRANSPORTATION
A range of ballistic downloading bags are available to
provide a safe environment in which to load and unload
handguns and rifles. Typically these can be used in sensitive
areas where weapons require loading / unloading and
particularly in aircraft and submarines where an accidental
discharge could have fatal results.
The DLB/HV uses the same outer bag as the DLB/LV, but
cannot be used to carry weapons. It is rated at NIJ Level IV
and will contain a 7.62 API round at point blank range. The unit
comprises a heavy duty plastic tube with aramid wrapper
placed over a ceramic plate backed with an aramid laminate
board and contained within a rigid wood frame.
The WEB (Weapon Evidence Bag) bags were designed in
conjunction with the Metropolitan Police to provide a safe
mode of transporting loaded weapons found at crime scenes,
to the laboratory.Both these bags require customer supplied
cardboard box liners, sealable plastic/nylon wrappers and
securing ties, to ensure the weapons are contained in a sterile
environment to avoid loss of forensic evidence.
www.canovateballistic.com 17The WEB/HV will hold a rifle, shotgun or small machine gun and the muzzle end of the box containing the weapon is placed in a “letterbox” protected by a ceramic/aramid laminate pack. The handles on this bag allow for carrying by one or two persons. Provides protection to NIJ Level IV. The WEB/LV will hold a pistol sized carrier box within an aramid lined bag. • High speed bullet protection provides protection against
NIJ Level III and III + defined rifle bullets, either alone or
with soft ballistics.

• Orthopedic, multi-slope or single-sloping design plates.
For over 25 years Armourshield have supplied a range of
ballistic armour upgrade plates manufactured to their
specifications. These have included both the ceramic
composite and polyethylene types.
The above ceramic composite plates are certified to both NIJ
Level III or IV standards and are available with black or olive
drab ballistic nylon spall covers.
This fully curved 10” x 12” (250mm x 300mm) polyethylene
upgrade plate provides NIJ Level III protection in conjunction
with our Level IIIA soft armour. Typically, these weigh 1.2 - 1.6
Kg each depending on individual specification.
We have introduced a range of in-house produced ceramic
composite plates, the “GR” series, which provide an
economically priced solution to high velocity rifle threats. A
range of sizes, fully NIJ certified, in conjunction with our level
IIIA soft armour is available in Level III and level IV. Level IV
stand alone versions are also available.

Test of four complete sets of body armor of Armorshield LLC, Model 1012-GR-4, Lot 1205/1205,
which were received on May 17, 2006. Testing was not witnessed by representatives of NLECTC.
Testing was not witnessed by a representative of Armorshield LLC.
The testing, which was authorized by NLECTC, was conducted in accordance with the requirements of
NIJ Standard-0101.04, Ballistic Resistance Testing of Police Body Armor, dated September, 2000, and
all changes, verbal and written, authorized by NLECTC as of the date of the testing. The results of this
test are to be used to determine the compliance of the armor in conjunction with the U. S. Department
of Justice’s voluntary compliance testing program for armor intended for use by Law Enforcement
officers. United States Test Laboratory is not empowered to issue or deny this compliance status;
however, the attached data indicates that this sampling of Model 1012-GR-4 w/AS-VGT3-3A, Lot
1205/1205, did satisfy the ballistic requirement of NIJ Standard-0101.04 prerequisites to issuance of
compliance status for threat level 4 protection. A complete ballistic limit test was not completed.
A complete penetration could not be achieved at the elevated velocities. The ballistic limit test
was terminated when excessive chamber pressures occurred.
The test samples and a copy of this report are being forwarded to NLECTC, and you may expect
their formal notification promptly. Please refer to USTL report number 06N074.
