HOW SYE WORKS WORKFLOW This solution covers the end-to-end workflow – from the backend, with source ingest and distribution, content distribution network, streaming, streaming load-balancing, control and orchestration, going all the way to the Sye client, where it’s provided as an SDK to be integrated into existing apps for playback. The on-premises Sye Connect ingests the video streams in the Sye CDN and provides a protected contribution. It receives the MPEG transport streams from the transcoder and prepares the ABR streams for distribution though the Sye CDN. The video streams are left untouched so whatever bitrates, resolutions and frame rates are configured will be displayed on the client device. Backoffice integration of real-time metrics, usage data for billing and alarms can be done via REST APIs, or they can be viewed in the dashboard.
