Easy Pancakes Red Velvet Waffles 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour 16.5 oz package Red Velvet Cake Mix 2 tablespoons sugar 4 eggs 1 tablespoon baking powder 2 cups milk ¾ teaspoon kosher salt 1 cup mini chocolate chips (optional) 1 ¼ cups milk, dairy or non-dairy, both will work raspberries (optional), and/or raspberry yogurt 1 large egg 4 tablespoons butter, melted 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Whisk cake mix, milk and eggs in large bowl until well combined. Bake and serve waffles topped with raspberry yogurt, mini chocolate chips or fresh raspberries.. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder and the salt in a medium bowl. Warm milk in microwave or on top of stove until lukewarm, not hot (you should be able to keep your finger submerged for 10 seconds). Whisk milk, egg, melted butter and the vanilla extract until combined. (By warming the milk slightly, the melted butter mixes into the milk instead of turning into small lumps). Bake and serve. Chocolate Waffles Buttermilk Pancakes 2 Large eggs 4 Large eggs – separated 1 Cup sugar 2 Tablespoons sugar ½ Cup butter or margarine melted 1 ½ Teaspoon vanilla 2 Teaspoons baking soda 1 Cup milk 2 ½ Cup all-purpose flour 2 Oz (squares) unsweetened chocolate 1 Teaspoon salt 1 ½ Cups all purpose flour 2 Cups buttermilk ½ Teaspoon salt 2 ½ Teaspoons baking powder ½ Cup butter or margarine Beat egg yolks and sugar until light and foamy. Add cooled melted butter, milk 2 Teaspoons baking powder and vanilla extract. Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg mixture. Add ½ Teaspoon cinnamon salt and beat well together. Beat egg whites until stiff and carefully fold into flour mixture. Bake and serve. In a small pan, melt the butter or margarine with the chocolate being careful not to burn the chocolate. Allow to cool. Beat the eggs until fluffy in a mixing bowl and combine with eggs, milk and vanilla. Add dry ingredients and beat until smooth. Bake and serve 6 7
