Dear Friends,
HOWDY and WELCOME to the 39th Annual Jack T. Reviglio Cioppino Feed and Auction. ISN’T THIS
EXCITING!!! GREAT COMPANY, GREAT FOOD AND GREAT DRINKS. ENJOY YOURSELVES AND HAVE
A GREAT TIME. BUT PLEASE, DO NOT FORGET THE MAIN REASON WE ARE GATHERED IS FOR
THE KIDS! 2019 is going to be a challenging year for the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows
(BGCTM) and I am proud to be serving as the President of the Board of Directors. Thank you for all
of your support past, present and hopefully, the future.
With nearly 14,000 members at 22 sites in the Truckee Meadows as well as Fernley, Ely and
Winnemucca, we continue to reach the youth who need us, ages 6 weeks through 18 years. To
serve the younger members, we have just recently opened a third Early Learning Center and are
planning a fourth in the Reno-Sparks area later this year. In addition, we will also be beginning
construction on an exciting new charter school project at the E 9th Street site sometime this
summer. The new charter school will serve about 500 students, many of whom are members of
BGCTM. We are also exploring opportunities to grow in the most needed areas of South Reno,
East Sparks and the North Valleys.
In addition to these exciting projects, we also need to prepare to compete for employees in
a competitive work environment. As the Nevada State Legislature ponders a minimum wage
increase, BGCTM has had to build wage and benefit increases into the 2019 budget. Your support
allows us to keep our 280 full- and part-time staff and give them the resources needed to mold
our members into caring, productive adults.
With more than 40 years in law enforcement, I have learned society, as role models, must help
raise our young children with patience, guidance and yes, sometimes discipline. After all, these
young people today are the future of our country and must have a solid foundation.
Once again, thank you for being here and please enjoy yourselves keeping in mind with your help,
we will be able to help the children who need us most. Remember,
NO CHILD IS EVER TURNED AWAY.

RULES OF THE AUCTION
GENERAL RULES: All auction items must be paid in full, unless other arrangements are made with
Amanda Sheahan prior to the start of the auction.
Payment may be made by cash, check, VISA, MASTERCARD, Discover or American Express.
All sales are final. Refunds will be made on purchased items only where there is a failure of
performance either on the part of the Club or on the part of the donor.
Unless otherwise stated, all auction items are valid one year from the date of the auction (2/23/20).
It is the buyer’s responsibility to read and respect expiration dates and restrictions.
Items must be taken the night of the auction, unless previous arrangements have been made or
other restrictions apply. The Boys & Girls Club reserves the right to charge a storage fee for any
items that are not picked up. Please note that on most travel auction items, it will be the buyer’s
responsibility to make all travel arrangements.
DOOR PRIZE will be drawn live on stage the night of the event. Door Prize is drawn from the ticket
stubs deposited at the beginning of the evening. Winner will be contacted by email, if not present.
SILENT AUCTION bidding will be conducted from approximately 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Bidding on
the first room will end at 6:10 p.m., with a room closing every 5 minutes thereafter. Winning bids
may be verified at the auction check out, located in the Cafeteria. You will be required to show a
receipt of payment in order to pick up your auction items.
MOBILE AUCTION bidding will be conducted prior to the event and conclude at 9 p.m. during the
Live Auction. Bidders will receive a text message when bidding will officially close. Winning and
losing bids are verified via text message or at the auction check out, located in the Cafeteria. You will
be required to show a receipt of payment in order to pick up your auction items.
LIVE AUCTION will begin shortly after dinner service and will be conducted by Greg “Lightning”
Williams and Jim Hay. It will consist of the voice auctioning of items in the order in which they appear
in this program. To bid on an item, wave your hand (or program) to attract either the auctioneer’s or
the spotters’ attention. A Club official will approach all winning bidders to verify the final bid price,
directly after the winning bid on each package is announced. A bid is considered a legal contract to
buy.
GUN REGISTRATION will be available tonight. Guns may not be taken tonight, but you can get the
registration process started now. Please see Tom Forbes in the Gun Registration room located in
the large gym where dinner is served.
TAX DISCLOSURE: Your purchases will be tax deductible to the extent that the bid price exceeds the
fair market value of the goods and services received. 2019 gifts will be used solely for the charitable
purpose of the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, a 501(c) 3 youth serving agency operating in
the state of Nevada. This gift was without exchange of any goods or services except where noted
and your contribution may be tax-deductible pursuant to the provisions of section 170(c) of the
Internal Revenue Code of 1986.

9Proxy Bidding and Description of Rules
WHAT IS A PROXY BID?
A proxy bid is a way for you to bid on a live auction item anonymously or when you are not present
when a particular item is being auctioned. Simply fill out the form and return it to the stage at least
ten items prior to the item you wish to bid on. Our proxy team will essentially do your bidding for
you up to the amount you list as your maximum bid. All standard auction rules apply to proxy bids,
meaning that if your proxy is outbid, you will not win the item.
WHAT ARE THE LIMITATIONS ON PROXY BIDS? (RULES)
1. Proxy bid(s) will only be accepted on live auction items.
2. Proxy bid(s) will be accepted only on proxy bid form(s) and all required information must be
provided.
3. To be valid, the proxy bid form(s) must be completed, signed and received at the Proxy Table
located on the stage no later than 10 items prior to the item for which you are submitting a proxy
bid.
4. Proxy bids will be entered in the amount you indicate. Your proxy bid amount can be outbid, so
please give us your best bid.
5. If you are the successful bidder for a tangible item, please arrange pick up of your item(s) the night
of or immediately following the auction. We cannot store auction items, and we reserve the right to
charge for storage at our discretion. All applicable shipping of tangible items must be arranged by
the successful bidder.
6. If you are the successful bidder for intangible or certificate item(s), the certificate(s) can be mailed
to you upon receipt of full payment.
7. All auction rules, including proxy bidding, are printed in your auction catalog. These proxy bid
rules prevail if any conflict exists between these proxy bid rules and the auction rules.

7. Seven-Day African Safari and Hunt for Two Hunters + Two Observers
Only a four-and-a-half-hour drive away from Johannesburg, Madaka Game Ranch, the home of WOW Africa,
