As with anything, performance improves with practice. Encourage your child to read at home. We recommend at least half
an hour of reading over the course of one week. Create a culture of reading at home by reading with your child and
discussing books that each of you have read. When reading with your child, stop and ask questions to be sure that your
child is understanding what they are reading.
