2008) Prof. Putignano is an international lecturer on
adhesive & aesthetic restorations.

Dr. Walter Devoto was born at Chiavari on March1965,
He graduated in Dentistry with honors in 1991 at the
University of Genoa. He has held teaching positions at
several universities in Europe and currently works with
the Universities of Siena, Barcelona (UIC) and
Marseille, where he is a visiting Professor in
Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry. He has always
been very passionate for conservative and aesthetic
dentistry, has authored and co-authored several
publications in specialized books and journals; he is a
speaker at national and international courses and
conferences on this subject. Is an active member of the
Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry since 1998
and an active member of the European Academy of
Aesthetic Dentistry since 2002. Works on his private
practice in Sestri Levante (Genoa, Italy) and
collaborates with prestigious practices of Dental
Aesthetics in Europe.

Abstract
High quality, sophisticated and complex aesthetic restorative dental work, need not only be
attained by the ‘gifted’ few.
A high rate for success in creating perfect restorations can be achieved by any competent and
confident dentist willing to follow simple protocols and instructions.

Our approach requires you to follow very simple rules:
• Take enough time to carefully consider and select the shade and colour match
• Be precise in the application of the selected colour/s, always being open to learn from any
 mistakes.
• It is a requirement to mimic the slightest nuances of the patients’ teeth.
• With careful material selection and layering techniques you will achieve perfect results
  without getting into difficulties.
