THE COAL MINING MUSEUM
The Coal Mining Museum in Zabrze is one of the most
important tourist and cultural institutions in region,
as well as one of the most recognizable in Poland. It
manages two post-mining complexes: Guido Mine
and Queen Louise Adit.
The Guido mine is known for excellently preserved
mining levels 170, 320 and 355 metres below the sur-
