PCI #1 EXAMINING RACE AND CULTURE IN COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE FROM THE INSIDE OUT What is needed to change Collaborative Practice to a more inclusive professional community serving a broad and diverse clientele? We will look at how our own race, culture, and history affect our beliefs, thoughts, reactions, and behaviors, the impediments to talking about race and culture, and how the functioning of our societies and systems within them impact us and our racial and cultural relationships in the context of Collaborative Practice. Then we will Catherine Conner, Gary J. Natalia explore the change to a more inclusive Collaborative community. JD Friedman, Lopez-Whitaker, JD JD PCI #2 DOLPHIN ADVOCACY: FINALLY TRANSITIONING FROM LITIGATION TO AN ALL ADR PRACTICE People – including lawyers – are good and wish to do good in the world. Learn how to realign with your better nature, do less harm in your practice and transition to an all ADR practice. Shawn Weber, JD PCI #3 AGREEMENT READINESS Incorporating recent findings from neuroscience, participants will be guided through innovative techniques that can assist and support clients, even high-conflict clients, to shift towards Agreement Readiness early in the process. This program offers coaching skills appropriate for each profession to manage even hidden obstacles at the outset – an aspect that is missing from most general collaborative trainings. Through the use of advanced worksheets Carol Hughes, Cathleen Diana L. and new techniques, participants will learn to improve cost efficiency PhD, LMFT Collinsworth, Martinez, CDFA®, MAFF® JD and facilitate better outcomes with more durable agreements for their collaborative clients. 7

2021 C E L E B R AT I O N VIRTUAL EDITION Eureka Honorees The Eureka Award recognizes and honors those who “have made significant contributions and demonstrated an abiding dedication to establishing and sustaining Collaborative Practice in California.” The Eureka Award is not limited to those in any particular practice or career. Previous honorees include members of the core disciplines—mental health, financial, and legal—as well as those who are not licensed in these professions. The Eureka Award was established in 2006 as part of the very first Celebration of Collaborative Prac- tice in Sonoma, California, and actually pre-dates the founding of CP Cal. In its first two years, the Eureka Award Committee chose to play “catch up” and honored several recipients each year. In 2008, the CP Cal Board chose to limit the Eureka Award to three to five Honorees. 2006 2008 2012 2015 2018 Honorable Aviva Bobb Randy Cheek Bart Carey Paul Brimberry Sharon Clark Cathy Daigle Shari DeLisle Jane Euler Kevin Chroman Bruce Fredenburg Kim Davidson Liz Ferris Arlene Kostant Cathleen Collinsworth Meredith Lewis Mark Hill Fred Glassman John McDaniel Thellen Levy Ria Severence Jennifer Jackson Kathleen O’Connor Karen Russel Shawn Weber Betsey Williams David Kuroda Alan Noble Georg Richardson 2009 2013 2016 2019 Chip Ross Natalie Leininger Debra Bellings-Kee Mary Ann Aronsohn Don Blythe Nancy Ross Lisa Murray Ann Buscho Melanie Belmont John Denny Pauline Tesler Leslee Newman Steven Garelick Keith Britany Jami Fosgate Peggy Thompson Emily Weaver Brian Don Levy Melva Warriner Jeffery Jacobson Donna Beck Weaver Lisa Schnieder Lisa Zonder Beth McClelland 2007 2010 2014 2017 2020 Peg Anderson Suzan Barrie Aiken Jay Bray Kathleen Faulkner Anthony J.
