External Porcelain Fixing Range The modern concept of ‘bringing the outdoors indoors’ has resulted in a huge increase in the popularity of 20mm thick porcelain for use on external patios. The impervious nature of porcelain compared to the natural stone and concrete slabs traditionally used externally has introduced new challenges for the fixer. The use of S1 adhesives offers a solution when fixing onto a flat concrete slab however, in many instances the requirement is for the porcelain to be laid onto a hardcore base in line with standard landscaping practice. In these instances, traditional tile adhesives are not suitable. The Norcros Rock -Tite range has now made this possible. It enables the trained tile fixer to install these fashionable tiles onto hardcore bases using three specially designed products.
