METAL STORY
Alexander Rose presented themselves to the metal furniture market with the
outstanding Portofino collection in 2012, made of wire mesh combined with
tubular steel. Our objective was to design eye-catching pieces of furniture that
would bring a refreshing look to a new market for Alexander Rose. Nine years later
the collection is still going strong and we have now added a corner casual dining
set and a new swing seat.
In 2015, we launched the Beach; a design collaboration with UK based designer,
Carsten Astheimer and our in-house Head of Design, Alan Morley. The modules
are made from powder coated aluminium frames, supporting unique pillow style
cushions with a toggle fixing. The modules can be connected together to create
limitless design possibilities, allowing you to create your own layout to suit your
space and style.
In 2019 we introduced the stunning Cordial Lounge, made from aluminium frames
and marine-grade rope to create a visually breath taking set of furniture that is
equally at home, outdoors and indoors.
2020 saw the introduction of Cordial dining, with table tops made in a choice of
slatted Roble hardwood or an elegant dark grey textured compact laminate.
For 2021 we have added a wide rope modular lounge set to complement this
fashionable collection.

In line with the ever growing trend for aluminium furniture, 2021 sees the
launch of our new Rimini collection, with its very distinct design features.
The flagship items of this collection are the ten seater extending dining table
with its smooth opening mechanism and the elegant designer armchairs
with tapered legs. To complement the dining furniture, there is a spacious
modular corner lounge set giving options for multiple configurations.
The craftsmanship of the metal workers can really be appreciated in the quality
of welding and polishing of the frames, before being powder coated in a finely
textured matt grey finish. The luxurious deep cushions come in a light grey
colour to complement frames. All table tops come in a striking dappled grey
ceramic effect glass. The extensive Rimini range will undoubtedly transform
your outdoor space.

Cordial is cleverly crafted from tubular powder coated aluminium frames,
which have been hand woven with marine grade olefin rope with a soft rubber
core, which has a faster drying time compared to unfilled ropes.
We are excited to introduce our new Cordial Luxe range into this on-trend
collection for 2021, which includes a modular lounge set, two seater sofa with
armchairs and a beautiful sunbed. Cordial dining options include a choice of
tables to seat up to eight people, with the choice of grey or beige frames
and Roble wood or HPL tops, in either pebble or sand colours to match the
frames.

to create our ultra-comfortable Beach range. Its unique design features and
the way in which the waterproof pillow style cushions attach to the perforated
mesh frames, by using toggles, make this collection a real talking point.
Comfort, versatility and functionality combine to make the Beach perfect for
modern outdoor living.
We offer the Beach in five different fabrics as standard, and new for 2021
we are delighted to offer an additional six fabric choices from Sunbrella, the
leader in outdoor fabrics.
