October 2021 Dear 2022 International Assembly In-Person Participants: It is my pleasure to invite you to register for the 2022 International Assembly. This training meeting prepares district governors-elect for their role as governor, introduces our organization’s priorities for the coming year, and provides ample opportunities to network with fellow governors-elect from around the world. The International Assembly also features an engaging and informative program for governor-elect partners, designed to appeal to their diverse interests and experiences. Keeping our members’ health and safety is a priority, so we are planning two options for the assembly. An in-person event will take place 16-20 January 2022 at Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida, USA, for those who are fully vaccinated and able to travel. This assembly will be similar to previous years with general sessions, small group discussions, and fun networking activities. This year we have made some modifications as a precaution for your health and safety. The virtual event will take place between 7-15 February 2022 for those who will be unable to attend in person or who would benefit from a flexible, remote IA. The virtual event will feature videos of the in-person general sessions, virtual small group discussions with a cross section of governors-elect, and virtual networking activities. Please read the enclosed information thoroughly before completing any forms. Rotary International staff is committed to supporting you throughout your leadership career. I look forward to meeting each one of you and hope to be able to talk with you at Rotary’s most important annual meeting.
