What is a GPA? Each student who completes a QIBT diploma will receive a grade-point average (GPA). This is a score between 0 and 7.0 that reflects average academic achievement during a program. GPA calculations are especially relevant where a GPA requirement is part of the entry criteria for a Griffith University bachelor degree program. GPA examples: • A student who achieves a pass grade in eight courses with no failing grades would have a GPA of 4.0. • A student who achieves four pass grades and four credit grades across eight courses would have a GPA of 4.5.
