Closing date and Delivery of Exhibits Entries close at 5.00 pm on Saturday, 14th April 2018 Exhibits must be delivered to the Pavilion on Friday 13th April or Saturday 14th April between 9.30 am and 4.00 pm Entry Fee $2.00 per exhibit. Special Conditions for Needlework All exhibits must be the work of the exhibitor. Work to have been completed in the last two years and not previously exhibited at Grafton Show. All exhibits must be in unsoiled condition and neatly pressed. Exhibits that are not clean will not be judged. Doilies are to be half mounted on coloured paper. For knitting and crocheting attach ball brands and/or strand of yarn. Quilts are to be no larger than 2400 mm x 2400 mm, must have three layers and have hanging material attached/pinned. Tapestries will be awarded on frontal work only. Framed exhibits must be presented ready for hanging. Classes open to all exhibitors except where stated. General conditions Late entries will not be accepted. Exhibits are not to be removed during the Show. Exhibits entered in a wrong class may be transferred at the discretion of the Chief Steward. The Chief Steward has the right to accept or refuse any exhibit. The Chief Steward’s decision regarding the removal of an exhibit or exhibitor from the Showground will be final. In all matters regarding exhibits and exhibitors in the Pavilion, the decision of the Chief Steward of the Pavilion is final. If there are only two entries in a class, second place will be awarded at the discretion of the Judge. Results of judging will not be available prior to the first day of the Show. Entries must be in marketable condition unless otherwise stated. All exhibits shall remain the property of the exhibitor. Permission is assumed to reproduce any exhibit for publicity purposes. Every care will be taken with exhibits but no responsibility will be accepted. Needlework exhibits to be collected on Sunday, 22nd April 2018 or Monday 23rd April, 2018 from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Prize money not collected by Monday 23rd April 2018 will be forfeited to Grafton Show. 3
