No. 30) Ordered, That upon the conclusion of morning business on Tuesday, March 23, 2021, the Senate proceed to executive session to resume consideration of the nomination of Shalanda D. Young, of Louisiana, to be Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget. Ordered further, That at 11:45 a.m., the cloture motions on the following nominations ripen: Shalanda D. Young, of Louisiana, to be Deputy Director of the Office of Management and Budget; Vivek Hallegere Murthy, of Florida, to be Medical Director in the Regular Corps of the Public Health Service, subject to qualifications therefor as provided by law and regulations, and to be Surgeon General of the Public Health Service for a term of four years; Rachel Leland Levine, of Pennsylvania, to be an Assistant Secretary of Health and Human Services; David Turk, of Maryland, to be Deputy Secretary of Energy; and Adewale O. Ordered further, That with respect to the motions to invoke cloture on the above nominations, the mandatory quorum calls required under Rule XXII be waived. Ordered further, That if cloture is invoked on the Young nomination, all post-cloture time expire at 2:15 p.m. Ordered further, That the Senate recess following the cloture vote on the Young nomination until 2:15 p.m. to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
