JANUARY 2021 VOL.6 ACHD Survey The National ACHD team is working on developing prenatal resources for ACHD patients. In order to gather feedback from the community, we have created a survey regarding existing resources and what this specific population still needs. Please help us distribute this survey by sharing it through your social media and support networks. Covering a Lifespan January 2021 marks the goal date to integrate ACHD leaders into all Chapters. In the last few months we have added several new ACHD Coordinators to State Chapter Boards. If your chapter is still in search of the right candidate, please reach out to ACHD Director Jennifer Weiner, jweiner@conqueringchd.org. Sponsorship Opportunity Late last year, Conquering CHD - Ohio generously sponsored the translation of National's educational resources into Spanish. As your State Chapters continue to grow and branch into new communities, more languages may be necessary, The Translation Sponsorship Program is under development and will allow State Chapters to cover the costs of translating resources into language needed within their communities. Stay tuned to the February newsletter for full details!

JANUARY 2021 VOL.6 National Volunteer Spotlight Tabitha Donner - Ohio Chapter President On behalf of Conquering CHD, we'd like to give out sincerest thanks Tabitha Donner for serving her two terms as the Conquering CHD - Ohio President and the many successes that have come from the chapter during her leadership. During her two terms serving as Chapter President, Tabitha has completed over 2500 volunteer hours and 600 visits with CHD patients and families. She has chaired the Greater Cincinnati area's Conquer The Runway and Conquering CHD Walk events, and hosted numerous family meals and kit packing parties over the years. For the past seven years, she has served on the Patient-Family Advisory Council for the Cincinnati Children's Heart Institute at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center and was a member of the first parent-led RCIC project in Cincinnati. On a national level, she used her voice on Capitol Hill at many Advocacy Conferences and has mentored many other state chapters. "Tabitha helped me to find the leader role in myself before I even knew I was built for it. She's given me so much to look up to and guided me in many ways to help the Kentucky chapter to succeed. I can only hope to achieve even half of what she's done for Kentucky families." Conquering CHD - Kentucky President Tabitha Rainey We thank Tabitha for her passion, dedication and leadership during her two terms.
