1. Specification and composition 1.1 The use of the machine This machine is widely used for the waste resource recycling industry. Its function is to separate the cable’s insulation layer and its conductor to recycle the copper, aluminum, plastic and rubber etc. in it for recycling. 1.2 Scope of application 1. Cable: dia. φ2mm~φ80mm 1.3 Technical parameter 1.3.1 supply voltage/Motor power/rate: AC380V/3KW/50HZ (220V/3KW/50HZ) 1.3.2 Overall dimension: 1080mm※850mm※1200mm (L※W※H) 1.3.3 Weight: 405Kg 1.3.4 Processing capacity: 23m / min (left); 33m/min (right) 1.4 Working principle 1.4.1 Take the left cable stripper device as example. In Picture1 the cable stripper device consists of the upper and lower idler wheels. Between the two wheels there are blades. In front of the wheels is the inlet device. When the machine starts, the upper and lower idler wheels operates relatively. The cable is conveyed to the space between the two wheels through the feed port by manual work. The cable is transported forward through the relative operation of the two wheels. The upper and lower blades cut the insulating layer of the cable open to make it separate from the conductor, thus achieving the recycling purpose. 1.4.2 The working principle of the right cable stripper machine is the same with the above statement. When the machine is carried for a short distance, people can retract its sizing block and land on its castors and then move it directly. When carried for a long distance or elevated, it should be moved with forklift and other supporting removal tools. 1.5.2 Transporting: When transported, the machine should avoid being crushed and impacted. Use certain measures to fix it to avoid damage. 1.5.3 Storing: The machine is better to be placed in dry and ventilated condition all time. 1.6 Composition: 1.6.1 (picture 2) Hand wheel Switch Hand wheel ② Material outlet board Feed port ② Shield Hand wheel③ Motor Feed port ① Sizing block Castors (picture 2)
1.6.2 Introduction of functions of each part: 1.6.2.1 Protection part: protect the workers from accidents while using machine. 1.6.2.2 Adjustment part: this part consists of left and right, up and down adjustment devices. The cable’s cutting depth can be adjusted by rotating the hand wheels , . 1.6.2.3 Feed port part: this part mainly consists of the left and right baffles, pulleys etc. All cables with different diameters can be clamped by rotating and adjusting the hand wheel . 1.6.2.4 Transmission part: this part mainly consists of electrical machine, transfer axis, pulley component elements etc. 1.6.2.5 Feed port part: There are nine round feed ports in different sizes to direct the cable into the machine for stripping. During wire stripping, feed ports should be selected according to the diameters of cable lines to be stripped. When there are several feed ports for selection, testing processing should be conducted from large aperture to small ones in turn. Pay attention that cables with piecing or plug should be removed first to avoid influencing the stripping effect or damaging the machine. 1.6.2.6 Wire stripping part: this part mainly consists of the left and right cable stripper devices. The right one is used for stripping finer cables, while the left one is used for stripping heavier ones. If the thickness of the cable’s insulating layer is over 6mm, the upper idler wheel should be replaced by circular knives. The replacing method is introduced in detail in “2.1.5”. 1.6.2.7 Electronic control part: Power supply of the machine: AC380/50HZ.(220V/50HZ) Users should examine carefully whether all the ligatures and electrical components are in good condition. Only when they are all normal can the machine be started up. If emergency occurs, please switch off power rapidly. 1.7 Notes of test run: 1.7.1 Inspection 1. Check whether the fastening piece is fixed or not. 2. Check whether the transmission part is loosened or not. 3. Check whether the electrical part is in good condition.
2. Operation 2.1.1 Read this manual in detail before use the machine. 2.1.2 The power of this machine is AC380V; the power should be connected right. 2.1.3 After the power is on, press the “Co-rotation” button to start the Machine. 2.1.4. Choose appropriate feed port for wire stripping according to the cable size (picture 3). Rotate the hand wheels to guarantee the best cutting depth. While using the left cable stripper device, the cutting depth can have fine adjustment by adjusting the components to which the arrows point in (picture4. If the thickness of the cable’s insulating layer is over 6mm, the upper idler wheel should be replaced by circular knife. 2.1.5 The replacing method for the left circular knives is as following: First remove the upper long knife and gear (picture 6); . Install and fix the circular knife (picture 7). 2.1.6 If emergency occurs during the stripping process, press the “Scram” button to stop the machine. 2.1.7 Clearing the residues on the machine after use. Maintaining: 2.1 Clean up the machine after use. 2.2 Add lubricating oil for bearing. 2.3 Add antirust oil for gear and blade. 2.4 Place it in dry condition. 4. Security declaration 4.1 Unsafe factors: 1. The machine is equipped with sharp blades. When material blockage or unsmooth ejection occurs during the operation, it will injure people who put hands into the machine for taking out materials when the machine is in operation (namely when the blade is running). 2. The used power of this machine is 380V; it is demanded that the operator should operate according to the requirements to avoid being shocked by electricity. 3. Take down the shield artificially and repair the machine while it is running. 4.2 Safety rules: 1. The machine can’t be started arbitrarily by person who is not familiar with its performance and operation rules. It’s suggested that the operator should read and learn this manual carefully. 2. Prohibit dismantling the protective parts that are related with the machine safety. Before each use, check carefully the tightness of each part. Check
whether electric parts are connected well and whether the switch can carry out the relevant action. 3. Prohibit arbitrary maintenance when the machine is running. If the emergency happens, the “OFF” switch should be pressed and the operation should be done after the power is cut off. 4. If the machine is blocked, shut down the machine, wear the protective gloves and pick up the materials using the relevant assistant tools. 5. During operation, please note the warning mark to avoid accidents.
