Tradition of Excellence BETHEL PARK BOARD OF SCHOOL DIRECTORS The responsibility of the Board is to provide for students’ educational needs by establishing budgets, hiring staff, providing facilities, establishing curriculum and determining policies. All Board meetings are held at 8 PM in the Community Room of the Administration Building and the public is invited to attend and participate in all meetings. Except for August and December, Committee Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month for the purpose of allowing the Board to discuss and conduct the general business of the school district. Formal action may be taken by the Board at these meetings, but generally, action is taken at the Regular (voting) Meeting, which is held the fourth Tuesday of the month, with the exceptions of November and December. The Board does not have any meetings scheduled in July. Immunization Requirements Those requirements allow for the following exemptions: medical reason, religious belief, or philosophical/strong moral or ethical conviction. HELPFUL INFORMATION Tradition of Excellence School Messenger Notification Service Cafeteria Prices Increase 10 Cents for 2018-2019 The Bethel Park School District uses the School Messenger Notification Service to notify Cafeteria lunch prices for the 2018-2019 school year have increased 10 cents: parents and employees about things such as school delays/cancellations, upcoming school • Elementary--$2.45 events and emergency situations.
