I STEPHEN BURROWS ACCOMMODATION MANAGER “Before I joined the accommodation team I was actually a student at the university myself. In my second year I was also residential assistant in halls of residence. I found the role so rewarding that I decided to stay on and become a full-time residential support adviser after successfully completing my degree. I now manage the service, providing pastoral care and support for our new students, but also ensuring that the terms and conditions of the halls contract are met. I’d like to think that my previous experience as a student here helps to enhance the service we provide.” 38
