CURRICULUM COORDINATORS Dr Anthony Mak Dr Andrew Chio Curriculum Coordinator Curriculum Coordinator “Accelerated Clinical Excellence” is a modular continuum that is the result of over 7 years of planning to ensure that the final result is a program that is practical, relevant and truly meets the SPEAKERS needs of the contemporary dental practitioner. Presented by a select group of Specialists and General Dentists, the Continuum brings a combined 200+ years of experience and knowledge in the different specialities in dentistry. All of the presenters and mentors are presently or have been previously been involved in tertiary and post-graduate academia, lectured in conferences and programs both locally and internationally and continue to be engaged in the everyday clinical care of patients. Many within the group have also published extensively in numerous renowned peer-reviewed journals. In essence, we call our faculty team the “ACE team”. Prof Laurie Walsh Prof Pascal Magne Prof Ian Meyers Dr Maciej Zarow Infection Control Biomimetic & Restorative Minimum Intervention Restorative Endodontist The goal of the continuum is to deliver a high-end comprehensive continuing education program Dentistry & Glass Ionomer in a structured pathway to ensure that the learning objectives of each module builds upon the knowledge and competency of the participant progressively. The delivery of the program through live on-site “Hands-On and Lecture” modules and supplemented by online e-learning based webinars also aims to cater for the different learning styles of today’s dentists. The structure allows the key objectives to be immediately implemented back in practice. Most importantly, close mentorship throughout the duration of the continuum and access to the presenters will allow the highest level of learning for each participant of the program. Dr Alex Kalos Dr Mark Atkinson Dr Caroline Chung Delivered over a period of 12-months, the continuum comprises of 6 modules presented in a Periodontist Specialist Oral Surgeon Paedodontist “Lecture and Hands-On” format and 4 E-learning (webinar) based modules.
