60 Anniversary th It's hard to believe that Black Widow is at the 60 year mark. Thanks to the hard work of the Wilson Brothers, who started the company in 1957, Ken Beck and the current Widow Workers we have reached a goal that we are very proud of. In honor of our 60th Anniversary we are offering a version of our most popular model. This SA X (with wood limb wedges and butt blocks in the riser) in the 60” length, custom made to your weight and draw length. The bow will have handpicked Tiger Myrtle limbs and a riser made with beautiful Ziricote. It will come with Anniversary arrow- head overlays. We are truly blessed to be able to do what we love every day and we could not have done it without our traditional family and friends that have chosen Black Widow as their bow of choice. Thanks to everyone who has helped Black Widow in achieving this goal. Shoot Straight, Toby Essick, John Clayman, and Roger Fulton Complete Bow: $1475 Limbs Only: $965 Handle Only: $510

• Black Widow Bow Model Comparison • PCH X PSA X PMA X KB X PA X PTF X Honduras Bocote Pau Ferro Kingwood Cross Grain Birdseye Rosewood Autumn Oak Maple 5” 3½” 3½” 4” 2½” 3” 14” 16” 18” 20¼” 20¼” 22¼” 22¼” 22¼” 24¼” What are the differences between our recurve bow models? PSA II with all inserts A common question we are asked is “What’s the difference between the PMA, PSA and the PCH models?” The answer is quite simple. In the photo of the three 60” take-down bows on the left, notice the riser lengths of the Sight different models. The PMA has an 18” riser with a 5” sight window. The PSA has 16” riser with a 4” sight window Inserts and the PCH has a 14” riser with a 3” sight window. Bottom line is that in these three bows the 60” PMA will have a 2” longer riser than the 60” PSA and a 4” longer riser than the 60” PCH. This allows the 60” PCH to have a 4” Side Mount longer working limb than the 60” PMA and a 2” longer working limb over a 60” PSA. The advantage of the shorter Quiver Inserts risers is that you can shoot a longer working limb with the same length of bow. There will be minimal performance difference as all of the bows have the same limb design. The length of working limb is important in determining your optimal limb length for your draw Stabilizer length. See RECOMMENDED LIMB LENGTHS for the various models. Insert The difference between the KB, PA and PTF models are much the same. The KB model will have a 2 ½” sight window compared to 3 ½” on the PA and PTF models. The riser on the KB model is 2” shorter, from fadeout to fadeout than the PA and PTF models. PAGE 3

FIVE YEAR PRO-RATED LIMITED WARRANTY: Black Widow has always strived to bring you the best quality bows that you can find. In addition to that, we have taken pride in the appearance of our bows by adding many exotic woods for you to choose from. Through the years we have tried to pick out the best looking woods to make your dream bow a reality. We have also tried to use the clearest fiberglass we can find to bring out the beauty of the wood. The producers of the fiberglass used in build- ing our bows cannot guarantee us clear, “window pane” glass. We, like the rest of the bowyers in the industry, have struggled for years with finding clear fiberglass. As a result of this we can no longer warranty bows that have small streaks in the glass. These streaks are cosmetic only and do not affect the integrity of the bow. As always, we will pick the clearest glass we can find to build our bows. Please keep in mind that the darker the limb wood, the more apt to see these slight imperfections in the fiberglass. Should damage or failure occur to a Black Widow bow within a period of one year from the date of shipment due to inferior materials or workman- ship we will make free repair, or replacement if repair is not possible. After the one year period, repair will be made at a reasonable charge. If, at the discretion of Black Widow Custom Bows repair is not possible, replacement will be made on the basis of 1/48th of the current retail price per month from the first anniversary of the date of shipment. For example, if the current price of a set of bow limbs at the time of replacement is $645, the per month replacement charge from the first anniversary date of shipment would be $13.44 per month. If this were to happen after 24 months from the date of ship- ment (12 months from first anniversary date) the replacement cost would be $161.28 ($13.44 x 12 months). Replacement will be made with a bow of the same model, or as near as possible if models have changed. THIS WARRANTY APPLIES TO THE ORIGINAL OWNER ONLY. The above provisions will apply unless the bow shows evidence of misuse, abuse, alteration, improper handling, or damage as a result of shooting arrows weighing less than 8 grains per pound of draw weight (we recommend 9 to 11 or more; especially with long draw lengths of 29 inches or more, which can significantly increase the possibility of limb tip damage when using a high performance bowstring) or during the stringing or unstringing process. No adjustment can be made until the bow is returned to Black Widow Custom Bows for inspection. If it is necessary to return your bow to the factory for repair be certain to pack it carefully to prevent damage from shipping. To insure that you do not do something that will void your warranty be sure to read and follow the instructions in the Owners Manual and watch the Owner’s Manual DVD before assembling, stringing and shooting your bow. I purchased my first fall turkey tag in 2016. I felt certain I would never get a close shot from a tree stand since they see my every muscle flinch or twitch and always change direction. I was whitetail hunting on a water hole. This treestand had a lot of cover behind me. A group of turkeys filtered in to drink and I actually missed a hen at 10 yds. Within a few minutes I heard another group approaching from behind. I readied my bow as a hen appeared at 10 feet to my right. I somehow held it together and made a perfect shot; the turkey ran about 10 feet and died under my treestand. I was so amazed that I had to keep checking with my binoculars to make sure it was really still there until I could climb down at dark. I was making my first attempt at trophy hunting and passed on good shots at several small bucks this season. Time was wheedling away so I took vacation in order to concentrate on hunting during November. I had just settled into my treestand that morning and it was just starting to get light. I was busy watching a couple of fawns under my tree. I decided to turn and get my bow off the hanger in preparation, just in case an opportunity arose. Reaching for my bow, I caught a glimpse of a buck heading down a path toward me. He sauntered in to check out the fawns and then stopped broadside at about 6-8 yds. I drew my PSR and shot. The buck ran noisily off in the woods and then came crashing back towards me. He died about 40 yds from my tree. Meanwhile down the road, my father- in-law, Denny Sr. was hunting from a ground blind when he used his PSR to connect on a 17 yd shot at another 8-point buck. His buck went down in sight also. He requires oxygen to get to and from his blinds, but he is still out there pursuing his passion. Marie Sturgis PAGE 20
