HAVE FUN AND MAKE NEW FRIENDS! REGISTRATION BEGINS OCTOBER 9, 2019 How to Register: »» Online Using the Internet at burnaby.ca/webreg. Available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Please have your family PIN and client number and a credit card ready. »» In Person Drop by the centre of your choice during registration hours. We accept cash, cheque, VISA, MasterCard, American Express or debit card. »» By Phone Phone-in registration hours vary from location to location. Please have the course number (barcode) and a credit card ready. Volunteer Bus Drivers If you have a Class 4 (unrestricted) drivers licence and would enjoy driving a minibus full of fun-seeking 55+ adults, please contact Bonsor Recreation Complex at 604-297-4587 or Confederation Centre at 604-297-4815. Bus trip schedules and fees subject to change | Prices do not include tax.
For Trips that Include Ferry Transportation To qualify for a seniors’ discount on BC Ferries, you must be age 65 or older and a BC resident. You may be asked to present a piece of government issued ID proving your age and residency. Trip prices include the seniors’ discount. If you do not qualify, be prepared to pay the difference. The additional fee is charged upon registration. Registration & Refund Cut-off Dates You should register for trips at least one week prior to the trip date. The last day for refunds is one full week before the trip date unless stated otherwise. 55+ Society Bus Trips The Bonsor 55+ Society is now offering overnight trips to interesting and exciting places. To sign up for these trips, please see the bulletin board in the 55+ lounge at Bonsor 55+ Centre. Transportation is in their 20-passenger bus. Wheelchairs & Walkers When planning a trip where you’ll need your wheelchair or walker, please inform the clerk when registering. Every effort is made to accommodate the equipment with advance notice. Accessibility Walking to and from bus parking locations may be necessary. Please contact the centre if you would like more information regarding the amount of walking on a specific trip. Arrive on Time Ensure you leave home in enough time to park your car and get to the centre 15 minutes before the trip departure time. Many trips must leave at the time stated to ensure destination arrival time. During all 55+ outings, please: »» Use headphones when listening to personal devices. »» Use cellphones once you are off the bus to make calls. »» In consideration of those with allergies please avoid scented hair and body products.
