September 21st, 2020Reading and understanding the content of this presentation is important for
the family and coach who is planning to take into consideration presenting the
candidacy of their child - student for the upcoming Smrikva Bowl.
The presentation contains relevant information that the accepted candidates
will find useful in order to prepare for the Smrikva Bowl experience.
Due to COVID-19 pandemic the 25th Smrikva Bowl 2020 edition was not held
and we are expecting several challenges that may affect the 26th Smrikva
Bowl 2021 edition.
As of 21st of September 2020 the world is still not presenting safety conditions
required for the Smrikva Bowl execution.
2Why without safe world the 26th Smrikva Bowl 2021 edition would be difficult to execute?
The whole event idea is to make it special for each invited player and each Smrikva Bowl player
participate every day to different group moments where the players are very close to each other:

Tournament Scoring
All the players enter directly the Main Draw.
The MAIN DRAW scoring (starting on Monday):
best of 2 „short sets“ up to 4 games with “no ad” scoring (play 1 game point at
deuce)… if the score is 4 games all, regular tie-break (7-points) is played… if the
score is 1 set all, the 3rd set is played as a match tie-break up to 10 points, with
a two-point lead…
All the players who lose during the first day enter the Consolation Draw.
The CONSOLATION DRAW scoring (starting on Tuesday):
regular set up to 6 games with “no ad” scoring (play 1 game point at deuce). If
the score is 6-all, a regular (7-points) tie-break is played.
“IGRA” SPECIAL DOUBLES DRAW scoring (starting on Wednesday – all Smrikva
Bowl players are eligible to play IGRA game and they have time till Wednesday to find
their partner for the IGRA game):
Game „IGRA“ starts by playing cross strokes with 2 balls… after the first error
or the winner is made, the player who made the point should say the word
„IGRA“… the regular point is played with the remaining ball …

responsibility and Smrikva Bowl’s idea of children, sport, music and culture that are able to pass all frontiers are
incorporated in the creation of this Smrikva Bowl Library.
It is the story of
Today people live an average of about 80 years. What we call civilization is mostly made up of the human knowledge we
