Golf has been played around Dunbar since the early part
of the 18th century. Dunbar is laid out on a narrow strip of
land with a number of dramatic holes hugging the rocky

to Bass Rock, a volcanic form rising from the water.

Deposit Requirements
First Deposit:
A non-refundable deposit of AUD$3,000 per person is required at time of booking and will be convert-
ed to GBP (the exchange rate will be advised to you) to be offset against the total package price in
GBP. This deposit will secure your place on the tour. Your booking will not be confirmed until the Signed
Booking Form is returned and the deposit paid.
Second Deposit:
The second deposit of AUD$5,000 per person is due by October 15, 2021. This deposit will be converted
to GBP and remitted to our UK partner for payment. You will be advised of the bank exchange rate
used for this transfer.
Final Deposit:
The final payment is due by April 6, 2022. The final payment will be for the full price of the tour in GBP
less the deposits paid (first and second) and converted to AUD based on the best bank rate of the
day. No refunds are available after the final payment date.
Payment Method:
Amounts may be paid by bank transfer to our nominated bank trust account in AUD$. This will be con-
verted to GBP at the prevailing rate and remitted to our Scottish partners for payment of requisite de-
posits.
Credit cards may be used however a credit card processing fee will be applied depending on the
type of card used – VISA/MC – 2.5%, AMEX/DINERS – 3.5%

The following information will be required to confirm all aspects of your golfing package. Full name and mailing address of each member of the group. (Including sex, as some clubs in the British Isles restricts days and times ladies may play). A letter of introduction from each member of the group’s home golf, club stating handicap and they are in good standing within the club or a copy of your handicap card. To secure the reservation and place the tour into operation you must complete the booking form and forward the ap- propriate deposit as outlined above. Deposit amounts will vary depending on the services you have requested. Once your deposit is received your tour will be placed into operation. Deposits are used to secure golf, transport and ac- commodations and are therefore non-refundable. Final payment of the balance due on the tour must be received by GOLFSelect no less than 120 days before the scheduled tour commences. Until then, the total price of the tour is not fully guaranteed. Payment can be made by the following credit cards – Visa or MasterCard or American Express (credit card processing fee will apply for all credit cards), personal or company cheque and also bank transfer. BOOKING CONFIRMATION AND DEPOSIT Any individual who makes the booking for this trip is responsible for all payments made to GOLFSelect in accordance with the payment schedule listed above.. It will be the responsibility of each individual person making the payment arrangements to ensure they understand both the deposit and cancellations terms and conditions as laid out by GOLFSelect. • A 100% cash refund of monies paid less a 2% administration charge (b)

COVID19 Cancellations after April 6, 2022
We are constantly monitoring the daily changing COVID 19 landscape.
Accordingly in the weeks leading up to the final payment deadline, to the best of our ability, we will determine an
appropriate updated COVID19 cancellation policy which will apply in the period up until the commencement of the
tour.
This will be communicated to you in good time and prior to the April 6, 2022 final payment deadline and will take into
account all relevant factors.
GOLFSelect makes the decision to cancel the Escorted Trip
If GOLFSelect is unable to run the 2022 Scotland and Open Escorted Trip then you will be issued with your choice of
the following:

LAND TRANSFERS
The itinerary includes coach transport from the point of arrival until departure date unless specified otherwise. All m o-
toring and drivers expenses are included in the price of the tour.
HOTELS
It is the policy of GOLFSelect to use hotels that have a 3, 4 or 5 star rating. All quotations are based on rooms with pr i-
vate bath/shower at the hotels requested. Should any hotel not be available after your quotation, an alternative of
similar standard will be offered. Superior and De-luxe rooms are available for a supplementary charge in most hotels.

No refund will be made for un- used hotel accommodations, tee times or any other service due to flight delays, illness or any kind or unscheduled changes or for any other reason. TOUR DOCUMENTS Tour documents will be sent to you approximately 3 weeks prior to your departure date with all relevant documenta- tion therein. HANDICAP CARD OR CERTIFICATE GOLFSelect stipulates that all clients must carry with them a current handicap or a general letter of introduction from their home club. Failure to do so may result in access being denied at a number of the clubs. This can be provided to GOLFSelect ahead of the tour. CADDIES/PULL BUGGIES/MOTORISED CARTS We have included a forecaddie per group in a number of rounds as outlined in the itinerary. Pull buggies are included for all rounds. We have found, with experience, that a forecaddie provides invaluable information on where to hit (and where not to) as well as assisting with reading putts. Motorised carts are generally not available due to the tradi- tional designs of these golf courses. If you do have a current medical certificate, then please let us know and we will enquire on your behalf. If you require a dedicated caddy for you this can also be arranged ahead of time. Please advise us on booking if they are required. Caddy fees are to be paid by the client directly to the caddy or caddy master on the day of play and are not the responsibility of GOLFSelect. Please note that caddies are not directly employed by the respective golf clubs and it is the caddie’s responsibility to arrive at the allotted time and as such no responsibility is accepted by GOLFSelect. Gratuities are not included in the caddy or forecaddie fees and are to be paid separately by each indi- vidual golfer. MEET AND GREET Our starting point for the tour will be the Novotel Edinburgh Park—a 7 minute drive from Edinburgh Airport. BAGGAGE The airline baggage allowance varies per airline carrier. Please refer to the airline website you are flying with for clarifi- cation on luggage restrictions. TRAVEL INSURANCE GOLFSelect strongly recommends Travel Insurance. On booking your golfing vacation, please ask for details of our pre- ferred partner insurance company that we will be happy to recommend to you. Please remember it is your responsibility to have adequate travel insurance in place should you need to cancel the trip for any reason.
