Bio-based resin
As a result of a major innovation and technological breakthrough, Platex has been presenting
its first trays with bio-based resin since 2020.
The main component of polyester trays, the petrochemical resin, is replaced with a 100% French
bio-based resin made from beets and potatoes. Needless to say, there are no compromises in terms
of quality! At Platex, sustainability becomes an affordable reality.

Art. 1 - General: By placing an order, the buyer accepts our general terms of sale.
These terms take precedence over any customer documents and correspondence unless we authorize an exception in writing.
Art. 2 - Form of the Contract: Every order accepted becomes final and irreversible and may not be canceled or modified without the seller’s approval.
Merchandise may, on an exceptional basis, be partially or totally exchanged if the products ordered are new, still in their original packaging, are not specific and
if the quantity in question can be resold by the Platex company within a reasonable period of time. The decision is entirely up to the Platex company. A one-time
deduction of 20% will be applied, with the customer being solely responsible for shipping costs. Any exchange will only be authorized following a piece by piece
verification of the products returned.
Art. 3 - Delivery/Shipping: Delivery times are only given for the purpose of illustration. Merchandise is sold ex-factory and is shipped at the buyer’s
risk from the moment it leaves our warehouses, regardless of the means of shipping or delivery used. Any request for express shipping will be
charged to the addressee. Any order shipped “prepaid” may not be delivered in several parts; should this prove to be necessary, there will be an
additional shipping and handling charge.
Art. 4 - Guarantees: Merchandise delivered in compliance with the buyer’s order may not be refused or exchanged. Reserves for damaged, missing or non-
compliant pieces must be issued by the recipient within 48 hours following receipt of the goods. Any returns must have prior authorization from the seller. No return
shall be accepted without prior authorization. Any merchandise we verify as defective shall be replaced at our cost. By agreement, we are solely liable for replacing
the defective pieces. In particular, we may not be held liable for any other claims of any nature. Any use of our products not in compliance with our specifications
shall result in cancellation of the guarantees.
Art. 5 - Ownership Retention Clause: The seller shall retain ownership of the goods sold until complete payment is made of the full price, including
any additional costs. In the case of payment by installments, failure to pay one installment may result in a claim for return of the goods. These
provisions shall not exempt the buyer from liability, upon delivery, for all risks of loss or deterioration of the goods sold, as well as for any damage
claims that they may engender.
Art. 6 - Price and Penalties: In the event of late payment, the amounts due are subject to interest at the legal rate (ECB+10 points), without prior
formal notice and by operation of law, and a fixed compensation payment of 40 Euros for the cost of recovery pursuant to Articles L441-3 and L441-6
of the French Commercial Code. Failure to make timely payment of an amount due (total or partial) shall immediately render payable and without
formal notice any other amounts due or to come due, and shall authorize us to cancel the delivery of any merchandise for which full payment has
not been made or is due to be made at a later date. Restitution of said merchandise, to be made at the buyer’s cost and risk, is not tantamount to
cancellation of the sale. In the event of default on payment for our wares by the set date and intervention by our Claims Department, the seller may
claim as damages and under the penalty clause compensation equal to 15% of the amounts owed, in addition to the legal interest and any eventual
legal costs. These sums shall not be less than € 100, exclusive of taxes.
Art. 7 - Terms of Payment: Any bill for an amount less than three hundred Euros shall be payable upon receipt. Unless subject to special agreement,
or unless specific terms are mentioned on the invoice, our invoices shall be paid by bank transfer 30 days from the date of invoice of the goods. Any
customer not insured by our credit insurer must absolutely pay in advance based on a pro forma invoice.
Merchandise will only be manufactured once the entire amount of the pro forma invoice has been received.
Any payment deferred or altered shall be subject to bank charges and processing fees.
Art. 8 - Clause Granting Jurisdiction: ANY LITIGATION RELATED TO THE PRESENT SALE, EVEN IN THE CASE OF THIRD PARTY APPEALS OR
MULTIPLE RESPONDENTS, SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THE JURISDICTION OF THE NANTERRE TRADE COURT.
