Furthermore, the overall queens: Miss Royalty America and the International Queens will be awarded Saturday as well. You can only win one of those titles at the Awards Ceremony held Saturday night. You will still be called for being in the top 5 if you place/win one of the subsequent titles, but you will not be crowned if you have already won one of the higher optional titles. We want as many people as possible to be rewarded for their efforts, and you only have one head and can only wear one crown at a time. This means that in total, 24 optional titles are awarded at Miss Royalty International, as well as 16-20 additional titles on Saturday at Finals/Crowning (8-10 Miss Royalty International Queens and 8-10 Miss Royalty Americas), for a grand total of 40+ TITLES that are awarded each year at Miss Royalty International! ADDITIONAL FREE OPTIONAL AWARDS FOR EVERYONE We also give at the Saturday night Awards Ceremony many free optional awards for which there is no entry fee, many of which the contestants are not even aware of. One of those awards is Best Tshirt, described on a subsequent page. Other examples (which may or may not be the exact optional awards we will give but serve as examples only) are Most Beautiful Eyes, Most Beautiful Hair, Best Smile, Best Personality, Best Interview Outfit, etc. These are all judged by a combination of judges, none of whom are the general panel of judges that are judging the Queen and Royalty America titles, nor are they the optional panel of judges that are judging the paid International Model, Spokesmodel and Volunteer titles. Some of these free awards are judged in advance by qualified pageant judges through photos in the program book, some are judged by staff at the pageant (i.e. Spirit Award and Personality during rehearsals), and some are judged on site at the pageant by reigning Queen moms or Queens (i.e., “Best” outfits). We take these awards very seriously and if we use Queen moms to judge, we make sure they are moms of older queens (they tend to be farther removed from having relationships with actual contestants). We also select different people to judge these awards so that one panel is not selecting multiple winners of the various categories. We want as many different opinions as possible to allow contestants an opportunity to win more awards. In total, we give out over 300 awards and titles at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday night!
INTERNATIONAL PARTY The International Party is held on Thursday night. It features several fun, free contests with crowned winners at the end. The party is free for contestants, and $10.00 for additional attendee family/friends. The party is not generally open to the public, but if you have close friends/family staying with you for the weekend, you may invite them to the party, but they will need to purchase an admission ticket. Friends/family may not come to the hotel just to attend the party. Party tickets may be purchased in advance. Most Beautiful Mom/Most Beautiful Grandma: Our Most Beautiful Mom and Grandma contests are one of the most fun parts of our party, which is held Friday night. Contestants bring their moms and grandmas on stage and introduce them, and then they take a short walk and pose. Royalty Judges select the winners, who are crowned the Most Beautiful Mom and Most Beautiful Grandma! These are light-hearted, relaxing and fun contests that have no bearing on the pageant outcome. Contestants are not eligible to enter this competition. **NOTE** We will randomly select 20 moms and grandmas out of those wishing to participate in these contests, as there isn’t enough time for everyone to compete. Most Handsome Man: Yes, men get in on the action too! Adult dads, brothers, husbands, significant others are welcome to strut their stuff on stage. At the end of the competition, one man is selected as our International Most Handsome Man! **NOTE** We will randomly select 20 men who wish to participate in this contest, as there isn’t enough time for everyone to compete. Worst Model: This competition is for contestants only. Get on stage and model in the worst way possible, doing things you’d never do in competition. A winner is selected and crowned “Best Model.” **NOTE** We will randomly select 20 contestants to participate in this contest, as there isn’t enough time for everyone to compete. Best Tshirt: Embellish your custom logo t-shirt before the International pageant! Be creative... add fabrics, beads, rhinestones, bows, anything that suits your fancy! We’ve seen lights, cutouts, fringe, and yes, even capes! Judging will be held at the Friday night party, and winners will be announced at the Awards ceremony on Saturday night. This contest is free. Each age division winner will receive a trophy. WEAR YOUR DECORATED TSHIRT AND BLACK PANTS/SHORTS/ SKIRT TO THE PARTY, along with your crown and sash!
AWARDS CEREMONY & CROWNING NIGHT The 2021 Saturday morning rehearsal theme is “Pink in Paris”… wear your fancy pink outfit, bling it up with rhinestones, pearls, and carry your French designer Louis Vuitton purse and Chanel accessories!!! The fancier, the better! Pants, skirts, leggings, jackets, tops, jewelry… you name it! Bring out your personality and be creative! A secret panel of judges will select the best outfit and the winner will be given an award. The Awards Ceremony is now held on Saturday night during the actual crowning ceremony. Over 300 certificates, plaques, trophies and titles are awarded at this ceremony every year and now for the first time it is happening on stage during the major crowning moment of our International and America queens! All contestants will wear their evening gowns for the awards crowning night. Everyone that attends the Awards Ceremony/Crowning night must purchase a ticket, which does not include a meal. Dinner is on your own. Contestant tickets are included in their entry fee, but anyone accompanying them must purchase a ticket, including parents, brothers, sisters, and other family and friends. 13+ tickets are $55.00 and child tickets up to age 12 are $30.00. Awards Ceremony tickets must be purchased in advance—deadline to purchase is July 15, 2021. NO EXCEPTIONS. The hotel needs the seating count 2 weeks in advance. Food will not be served at this event. There are several restaurant options on site at the Palmer House and we recommend that contestants eat during their leisure time. PEOPLE’S CHOICE CONTEST The People’s Choice Contest is a super fun optional that runs for a little over one month long from June 15, 2021 until July 28, 2021. One contestant that has the most votes will receive a trophy, gold/ purple crown, and sash that says, “Miss Royalty International Mod- el”. This will be awarded to the People’s Choice queen that has the most votes online. Each vote is $1 and supporters can vote as many times as they wish. Voting links will be sent out to all contestants at least two weeks in advance so they can drum up support. If the Peo- ple’s Choice winner drums up more than 1,000 votes the highest score will not only be crowned during the International Finals, she will also receive a photo shoot the following day and go on the back cover of Tiara Magazine. Hair and makeup will be provided. All the winner has to do is bring her competition wardrobe to shoot in along with her brand new sparkly title. This title can be double crowned.
