From the humble start in Leningrad on 5 August 1997, Viking has grown
into the world’s leading river cruise line. One of the boldest moves came in
2012 with the introduction of the revolutionary Viking Longships. With more
itineraries in more destinations worldwide, we offer behind-the-scenes
insights that set us apart. Not long after, Viking Ocean Cruises was unveiled,
