A Passport to Post-16
   Students are able to access a wide range of courses
     including A Levels, Extended Diploma, BTEC and
                     apprenticeships.

• Many Level 3 courses require the equivalent of an old
  fashioned B grade to get onto them (grade 5 or 6 – see
  provider) to study a particular subject.
• Many courses and colleges require 5 good passes
  including English and maths – this will be grade 4 or 5
  depending on the course and the provider.
• This is the minimum requirement for most Level 3
  courses and many higher apprenticeships.

completed but will not form part of the final mark or grade. This
is endorsed on their final certificate.

with REQUIRED PRACTICALS.
• No reactivity series or ions on data sheets in chemistry
• Not all physics equations will be given – most will now
have to be memorised!
• Triple science – 6 papers instead of 9.

 BIGGEST MYTH! – Students DO NOT need to do triple
     science to enter ANY scientific career field!
