You are invited to join this once in a lifetime photographic adventure to see the ‘old world’ charm
of Europe in winter. Travelling with no more than 16 other guests, you will travel in luxury through
5 countries across 18 days with hosts Gina from Experience Croatia and Master Photographer Greg
Sullavan from the Canon Collective.

Learn the ART of Travel photography while visiting some of the worlds most photographable
locations. You will have valuable one on one time with Greg as he explains everything from how to
recognise an opportunity, understanding the light, shooting for impact, Lightroom file
management, editing for print, selling through stock libraries and the art of winning awards.
Lake Bled, Slovenia
DAY 1 Thursday 13th December 2018, MUNICH, Germany
Today, we will meet at our hotel in the afternoon and enjoy a welcome drink followed by a guided
walking tour of Munich. Evening dinner at the hotel and overnight. (WD, D)

DAY 2 Friday 14th December 2018, MUNICH, Germany
After an early morning breakfast, we will depart for Neuschwanstein Castle, here we will visit two
locations that will best capture the beauty of this breathtaking Castle.
In the early afternoon we will travel back to Munich where we will have an early dinner at a traditional
pub, followed by a visit to the magical Marienplatz Christmas Markets. (B,D)

DAY 3 Saturday 15th December 2018, MUNICH, Germany – SALZBURG, Austria
After breakfast, we will depart for Landshut, where we will spend a couple of hours photographing
this Medieval Bavarian town. After lunch we will continue our travel towards Salzburg where we will
be staying at a special hotel that was one of the locations that was filmed in the Sound of Music.

DAY 4 Sunday 16th December 2018, SALZBURG and HALSTATT, Austria
After an early morning breakfast, we will travel to Halstatt Village, we will spend the day here exploring
this breathtaking village, this village is every photographers dream. In the afternoon we will have
dinner at a local restaurant and in the evening you will be free to explore the Halstatt Night Market
before heading back to the hotel. (B,D)
DAY 5 Monday 17th December 2018,
SALZBURG, Austria
Today, we will explore the best views of
Salzburg and in the afternoon we will
visit Hehenwerfen Castle. In the evening
we will attend a very special Mozart
Dinner then return to hotel for
overnight. (B,D)

DAY 6 Tuesday 18th December 2018,
SALZBURG, Austria – VIENNA, Austria
After breakfast, we will depart for
Vienna, and visit the Schonbrunn Palace,
here we will have sightseeing of the
palace and grounds and experience a
Salzburg, Austria Strudel Making Show. In the afternoon
we will visit the Christmas Markets and
then head towards the hotel where we
will have dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 7 Wednesday 19th December 2018, VIENNA, Austria
After breakfast, we will visit the State Opera building and Kunsthistorsches Museum. You may also
want to have some free time to visit the Österreichische Galerie Belvedere (Gustav Klimt)
In evening, we will visit the Christmas Markets where you can explore dinner at leisure (B)

DAY 8 Thursday 20th December 2018, VIENNA, Austria – TRAKOSCAN, Croatia
After breakfast, we will depart for Trakoscan Castle in Croatia. During the afternoon we will visit the
Castle, this will be prefect lighting to shoot sunset around the grounds. Then we will continue to the
hotel for dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 9 Friday 21st December 2018, TRAKOSCAN, Croatia – ZAGREB, Croatia
Mid morning departure for Kumrovec Ethno Village, where we will explore this ethnic village, and have
lunch. In the afternoon we will travel to Zagreb and visit some of it’s highlights being St. Marks and
Lotrščak Tower. In the evening, we will experience the Advent Christmas Markets voted best in Europe
2 years in a row, where you can explore dinner at leisure. (B)

DAY 10 Saturday 22nd December 2018, ZAGREB, Croatia - PLITVICE LAKES, Croatia
In the morning you will have some free time to explore Zagreb, then mid-morning departure for Slunj,
where we will spend the afternoon for some amazing photographic opportunities. After sunset we will
continue to Plitvice Lakes where we will have dinner and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 11 Sunday 23rd December 2018, PLITVICE LAKES, Croatia
Early morning breakfast and then sightseeing of Plitvice Lakes National Park where we will spend the
day exploring this natural phenomenon. In the evening, back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAY 12 Monday 24th December 2018, PLITVICE LAKES, Croatia - LAKE BLED, Slovenia
After breakfast, we will depart for Lake Bled. In the afternoon we will have sightseeing of Lake Bled
and it’s surrounds. In the evening, we will experience a traditional Slovenian Christmas Eve Dinner.

DAY 13 Tuesday 25th December 2018 LAKE BLED, Slovenia
Being Christmas day, today will be at leisure and in the evening we will have dinner at the hotel and

DAY 14 Wednesday 26th December 2018, LAKE
BLED, Slovenia - VENICE, Italy
After breakfast, we will depart for Venice.
Afternoon sightseeing of Venice, followed by free
time to explore. In the evening we will have dinner
at the hotel and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 15 Thursday 27th December 2018, VENICE,
Italy
Today, will be at leisure in Venice. (B)

DAY 16 Friday 28th December 2018, VENICE, Italy
– LAKE GARDA, Italy
After breakfast we will travel towards Verona,
Venice, Italy
where we will visit the famous Juliet’s Balcony.
Then we will continue towards Lake Garda. We will
have a sunset location shoot, then dinner and
overnight at the hotel. (B,D)

DAY 17 Saturday 29th December 2018, LAKE GARDA, Italy – MILAN, Italy
After breakfast we will depart for Milan, here we will have the opportunity to experience Da Vinci’s Last
Supper, and in the evening we will have a farewell dinner at the hotel and overnight. (B,D)

DAY 18 Sunday 30th December 2018, MILAN, Italy
After breakfast it will be time to say goodbye.

National and International levels, as well as judging at the Queensland and Australian Professional
Photography Awards.
